It's Sailor Moon cosplay wank time, kids
Thanks to the mice at [info]wank_report for this.

[info]cosplayfucks is a place to post pictures of bad cosplay, so that all may mock freely. It appears to be a typical day in the neighborhood when [info]_makochan_ posts a pic of a Sailor Moon cosplayer whose costume wasn't quite done yet. Crit is given, and some of it is even constructive. More importantly, there are accusations of copying the Kou Klan, being a man, and being Sailor Boobies. The cosplayer in question, [info]slrmoonserenity, comes to defend herself. One would expect drama from this, but surprisingly, she and _makochan_ agree to let it go. Everything should be cool now, right?

WRONG.

One of slrmoonserenity's friends, [info]usagi_chiba, gets wind of this and flips her shit.

I'm sorry, but I Have to post considering you guys just sucked the blood out one of my friends. Once again you guys are bashing cosplayers left and right. Its one thing if you don't cosplay, but if you do beware because not everyone is going to like your shit either and one day you may just see your fucking face being laughed at up here then it will not be so fucking funny now would it. If I wanted to, I could stoop to your lvl I could bring every flaw that you so called "my shit don't stink cosplayers" have. Get over your fucking selves, and get a life because going around searching for shitty cosplaying is just plan sad (even though there are lot of really fugly and gaggy ones out there.... still...) people still choose to post there picture even though they are feeding themselves to the wolves. Sadly some of you are I am familar with and was pretty shocked to see you doing this stuff, after some of you sunk your teeth in my ass when I did the same thing about one person a while ago LOL can we say hyprocrite much?

406 comments, some to the tune of "Quit whining," others to the tune of "Spelling and grammar plzkthx," yet more with accompanying photoshops (some NWS), and usagi_chiba marching to her own angry beat every few comments.

I don't know the first thing about cosplay, and I know none of these people. I just like the kitten pile and Super Eel-chan.

Kyoshiki: I understand you don't have any friends, nor have you ever had a relationship, Your mother should have aborted your ass while she had the chance, or else I would not be bleeding my eyes out at reading a post thats information is sooo off. Obviously you can't read because if you could you would know that I am not slrmoonserenity, and that everyone even the best of grammar folks make mistakes its a human trait. If you still have a hard to comprehending that, I advice you to go back to school.

Omg. Pwned. Etc.

The kitten pic pwz. And the rest of it? 400 something comments of the same type when someone gets wanked and comes over here to whine.

And the sailormoon outfit reaaaalllyyy needed a bow. Really. She could have bypassed this whole wank by adding the bow. Or not posting, but who has the willpower to do that? e.e

That costume doesn't have a bow, otherwise I deffenatly would have had one, all she has is her locket, which has wing like things, but no bow.

Sorry, just thought I'd tell you that, I dk why but a lot of people think this form of Sailor Moon has a bow, maybe because it's the only fuku that doesn't. *shrugs*

Guh. I hate that. Granted, the girl in question doesn't have the best cosplay ever, but that's aside from her weight.
God. Look, public at large, you don't have to tell fat people they're fat. They know.

I do wonder what reaction they expect when they say that. Is the overweight person supposed to 'My God..You're right! Thank you kind stranger for showing me the error of my ways. Onward, to the gym!'

The majority of us on that community HATE the "omgz fat" thing. In fact, it states in the userinfo of the comm not to.

Ditto, really. It wasn't a comment on the community as much as that trend in general.
My brother being a chief example.

Maybe you should add another clause to the user info - everyone who goes "OMG fatty!" has to post a picture of his six-pack abs/firm, slender thighs. Because they all have perfect bodies themselves, right? :p

Kittens=awesome.

The original cosplay=needed a bow, but really, not too bad. I've worn worse.

The 'friend' who brought the wank hardcore=batshit.

She does have a bow. It's made of feathers. Yes, the brooch has wings coming off, but they're really tiny. If you notice, untransformed it only has the little tiny wings of the side, when she is transformed, the brooch sits on top of another set of wings. Use feathers or make a mini pillow wing set, either works. But she is not bare breasted as Eternal Sailor Moon.

http://www.crimsonskycreations.com/sailormoonavatars/moon/eternalsmoon.htm
Its a little hard to see due to the whole white on white thing, but almost every single one of them has something in place of the classic bow. Whether it's actually feathers or just some fabric shaped like feathers, all but one have it.

That's the feathery bow one, isn't it? Most of my stuff is packed away just now, or I'd try to look it up, but hey, that's what the interwebs are for. I'm fairly certain there's the double-winged bow stand-in on the Eternal outfit.

'Sides, there is definitely a brooch at least. Naoko never left off that in anything. Thing for sparklies.

Were you trying for the anime one or the manga?

Hehe, I am not fond of drama, and honestly didn't really think it would generate..that. That is why I let it go. :p

That was my drama for the year.

And the Sailor boobie thing, I don't think that wasn't meant to be hurtful. Atleast not by me ^^ I like to give people nicknames, not always ones they like ^^;;

I like Sailor Boobies. I think it is cute <3333

(It's Kaori)
I honestly just don't understand why people feel the need to bash against other people's cosplay. If their cosplay is so wonderful, then it is, and they will get compliments on it. They don't need to put others down to make themselves feel better, it's childish. I can understand constrictive critisizm, but there is a difference between that and just plain insulting. Especially when you take it to a personal level beyond the persons costumes. Saying something about someones costumes is one thing, insulting them as a person is a completely different thing, especially when most people that do the insulting know nothing of the person they are insulting. I also think that most of the people doing said insulting don't realize just how much they can hurt a person. It's cruel and rude and that's not something that I grew up learning how to be. Personally, I would encourage anyone cosplaying who puts effort into it. If you are trying, then that is good enough for me because your doing something you enjoy rather than doing something completely unproductive. Hell, it's better than seeing them on the nine o' clock news shooting up a nieghborhood. Kudos to ALL cosplayers.

Kaori

Yeah, but the word is effort (not in relation to her, but I am sure you have seen some with just little to no effort.)

I like to be more constructive, but yeah. Some can be just down right mean.
