Pony + Prayer = SPOOGE!
Ah, it's been too long since a good pony wank.

On the MLPTP, (which has shed the nasty spyware for a new board *waves tiny flag*), KneonT finds a new pony named "Bedtime Blessings with Bright Night". And when you squeeze her little hoof, she says a bedtime prayer. The standard, "Now I lay me down to sleep; I pray the Lord my soul to keep. May angesl watch me from the skies, Until the morning when I rise." (I personally like the classic, "And if I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take I pray the Lord my toys to break, so none of the other bastard children can play with em. Amen.")

And lookie that pony spooge FLY. Clearly, the idea of Christianity in the world of ponies makes people lose their shit. How DARE Hasbro make a praying pony! The Pagans and Atheists and the non-Christian ponies are offended, by God Goddess Zeus Buddha nothing, absolutely nothing The Rainbow!

Me? I haven't gotten any of the Creepy Soft Babies, but I might get that one and gut her mechanism. Cause she's kinda cute in that "I WANT YOUR SOUL" way.

Y'know, most of those sound chips are about the same size and have the same pin outs, so you can swap them between toys. Not that I ever swapped the chips between a talking 12 inch GI Joe and a talking Barbie, or anything.

if you want them to be religious you can make them pretend to be whatever religion you want. my silver lining is a southern baptist. hasbro didn't make her that way, but that's what i see her as.

Which kind of sucks for them, because unless there's a terrible fire, they're not dying any time soon.

Maybe this pony is just the first in a series of religious-themed ponies. Next in line: Flamey the Merry Satanist Pony (comes with own little altar for sacrifices and special theme song that, when read backwards, is actually a sparkly prayer to evil).

(And on another Pony-related note, the other day I was going through some old videotapes and found a copy of one of the My Little Pony movies and watched the whole thing with a big, stupid smile on my face. And there was one passing mention of Easter in that movie. OMGChristianponyoppression!11!)
