Right.

I don't think I've ever seen as many pointless eulogies for the fate of a certain JK Rowling character. Just go to fanfic and click on the potter section and be horrified. It's just the most amazing drivel. Don't do this if you're preserving the ending of the book and crap. Many of the imbeciles don't have the common human decency to give warning to spoilers. A pox upon them!!!!!

I can't wait to read her versions of the last three books where, liek, OMG, he lives on!!!!1!! The proper version of the story, not the fake JK Rowling written version! 'Coz she only killed him off because she's a big meanie!

It was the posting of this that drove me to ask Zanne for a journalfen code... I think I must have stared at the screen for a few minutes, giving off a sort of bitter, hysterical, soul-scarred laughter at the utter ridiculous crap that is that fic.
I mean, what the HELL?! Where did this idea even COME FROM?! Did this person even READ the book, or did they just hear that there was a character named Luna and then write this little piece of angsturbation? ARGLBLARGLARGFARG!

Heh, i haven't read the book yet but i just found out who dies.

I'm not sad, i was more like, 'meh, so?' It really wasn't who i was expecting at all. Even if it had been someone i was really fond of i wouldn't have gone all weepy and strange like these people. I mean geez, they're fictional characters. I don't know whether to be amused or scared by their behavior.

Heh, heh... I'm not a fan of the series (I'm trying to read the first book, but I slacked off already. *LOL* I'm so out of practice - I used to be able to plow through 500-page books in a day if I felt like it.), so I just read the spoilers to see what people on my Friends list had to say.

Anyway, from one of my friend's entries (The SPOILER WARNING goes without saying, guys. Don't bitch if you click.), I'm predicting there will be MASSIVE catfights between hardcore Snape sympathizers and Sirius sympathizers very, very soon. Also, catfights between Snape sympathizers and James Potter fans, though they'll probably be less frequent.

I've also noticed that some people on other journals I've got Friended have been commenting about potential Snape x Harry subtext, so I'm guessing there will be new OTP flamewars between those fans and everyone who doesn't like that pairing. Oh hell, after noticing random comments about Lucius x Snape and Lupin x Snape (with fans of the latter screaming for joy about Sirius "not being a hindrance" anymore), I'm pretty sure that the rekindled argument of who Snape is fucking paired with is going to be the primary wank of the already wanktastic enough HP fandom during this installment of the series, possibly up until the next book comes along.

What bothers me so much is how many of my friends, people I love, are so upset about this. *blinks a lot* I just, I don't know, got over it? Didn't cry. And wasn't that big a fan of the character to begin with.

...I haven't read the book yet, but I guessed who would die from the comments in random people's LJs, like "I was so sad I cried, and hugged my big, fuzzy black dog!" O_o Uhhh, right. Narrows it down to two characters.

And at least it wasn't Lupin. S'all I'm sayin'. V^^V
