PernWank, v. 2.0
On the PernMu Discussion Forums, there is a user called tEhtWinK, who is now going to be called 'Twink' so that I don't have to type that monstrosity over again.
She Impresses a gold dragon on a game called PernWorld, known for its amazingly awful and wanktastic wizard, Mynti. Forum admin Neva starts a thread called What the hell were they thinking? about putting her on gold.
The best observation is made by Neva in response to user Carise, who comes to Twink's defense:
Casiella/tEhtWink, in the period she was applying or shortly before:
1. Got kicked off SC on another game for breaking confidentiality on the Xanadu knot to talk about one of the metallic applications from the other game. (Great behavior for a future SC lead!)
2. Threw a tantrum for nobody offering to puppet her for the Igen Hatching, and solved that problem by actually quitting her job. (How responsible!)
3. Her Igen Weyrling sent her dragon into hysterics ICly by trying to reject her. (Wonderfully canon.) Quote from the log:
Timorell pauses as she is slapped, her eyes going wide. Her face gets even redder, as if this is possible, and she screams. "I AM NOT SPOILED!" She screeches at him, whirling and stabbing a finger accusingly at Navi. "AND YOU TOLD ME TO LEAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE! Don't you tell me how to live me life! You don't know ANYTHING! NONE OF YOU KNOW ANYTHING! Morieth's FINE. She doesn't need ME! One of YOU adopt her under your wing if your care about her so much! I was going to take her with me. But you won't let her leave. So now /I'M/ going. WITH OR WITHOUT HER!" Somebody is seriously, seriously unhinged. Morieth lets out a wail of anguish and pain.
If one knows Pern canon at all, one ought to know that rejecting a dragon? Is a big no.

... that is, until conversation about Twink's game, Timor Rising, goes ballistic.
KarmaBum points out that just recently, Twink had been acting like a suckup toward Mynti (I believe this was previously featured at F_W) and we should have all seen this coming. Carise and Lyna still defend her. Bets are made: what goes first, Twink's game or the PW gold?
Then the game's ad returns, and Schmitt observes, Even if it wasn't run by TehTwink, I'd never play on a Pern game where they have warnings that your commands may be logged by the wizards at any time so watch out! I like being an adult, thanks.
Apparently, Timor Rising claims that they will log EVERY SINGLE THING EVERY PLAYER ENTERS OMG onto their own private files, including private pages, mails, and scenes.
And, along with J'han's observation of
The big problem with the logging thing, Tehanu, is that there is another rule on TR that says NO OOC DISRESPECT. So put these two policies together and it reads like "I'm going to log everything and go through everyone's pages to make sure my peons aren't talking shit about me," which is... not good.
... wank not only breaks out, but all the shit hits all the fans. For five pages.
