More soccer wank about how to act like a real fan. This time, it's club vs. country in seven pages so far of bitching about what shirt to wear to a game, with some side wank about getting ejected from the stands.

I swear, I go to national team games, I go to anime conventions, and every time: different fandom, same people.

If you're sitting in the Sam's Army section, it's expected you'll be standing; it's the rest of the stadium where sitting or standing is left to the individual's discretion. (Besides, if you're in the SA section and you're seated, you're going to have some trouble seeing the field).

But if you do show up wearing an MLS club jersey, don't be too surprised if some US fans who support different MLS clubs give you the cold shoulder.

Clearly, the solution to all this is more crowd violence at US games. That'll sort out the whiners.

They're not proper football fans unless they threaten to meet up in some middle-of-nowhere field to beat each other up over this.

Ooh, soccer wank! I had to upload my soccer icon for the occasion...

I really like the way two of the mods decree what fans have to do at games, because that's how it is, and then tell people who don't share their opinion to get over themselves.

Personally, I've seen a lot of team jerseys at national games (To clarify: mostly in Europe, mostly on TV). And why not? These things are really expensive, you can't wear them to many occasions without looking like an idiot, so get what you can out of them!

Not even one year until the world championship... maybe those people will even come to my town so I can laugh at them... will the US qualify? I'm not following as closely as usual since Germany doesn't have to go through qualification.
