When cranky congoers attack......
Over on the Dragon*Con community, discussion has been going about guests canceling 2 weeks before the convention. Along comes omahastar, who blames Dragon*Con, and accuses them of not really even having booked certain guests. People try to reason with her (him? it?), that this happens at every convention, not just Dragon*Con. But according to Omahastar, if she can commit to be there, there is no reason the stars can't and that getting an acting gig isn't a good enough excuse.

	Hell, a music festival I'm working at over Labor Day weekend had two major headliners cancel last month. (One of them was Devo; I don't remember who the other one was.) Stuff happens. Personally I'd be pleased if someone I admired cancelled, if it was because they'd gotten work. This wank is pretty small, though. I haven't seen any multiple exclamation points yet. (Reply to this)

	I want the dude from Star trek DS9 whose part was to sit at the bar in an Alien suite in at least half the episodes (it was the same actor through all 7 seasons, even though anyone could have been in that suit and looked the same) and just nod his head at Quark when he was spoken to.
