A Whole World of "OMGWTF!"
2nd post today for me, yay! Mainly because I couldn't resist posting this. Also from wank_report
I checked and this did not seem to have made it on F_W yet. How can that be?! More Harmonian wank? Yeah. Harry and Hermione are destined for each other! Yup, they have a petition, which apparently went up the same day the fandom imploded (July 21st). And what do they want? JUSTICE! And an apology.
We, the undersigned, hereby petition Joanne Kathleen Rowling, author of the Harry Potter book series, to immediately apologize for her remarks included in the interview conducted by Emerson of MuggleNet and Melissa of The Leaky Cauldron, in particular the following words:
"Yes, we do now know that it's Ron and Hermione."
In addition, we strongly DEMAND that Joanne Kathleen Rowling apologize for laughing at the term "delusional," as it was applied to the millions of Harry/Hermione shippers throughout the world.

We also petition Joanne Kathleen Rowling to rectify the situation in Book 7, clearing up any questions the few Ron/Hermione shippers (the truly "delusional" ones) floating around might have about the one true romantic relationship that matters in the Harry Potter books, that of Harry and Hermione.
Otherwise, we have no choice but to ban Book 7 when it comes out. As the millions of Harry/Hermione shippers are the only "true" fans of the Harry Potter book series, this action will seriously affect books sales, and will undoubtedly force Bloomsbury and Scholastic to reconsider any future Harry Potter publications.
So far there are 3226 signatures. Or are there?! A closer look shows that the Emerson Thugs have decided to have some fun.

Now whether it's faked or not, I have no clue. But if it's real, then my respect for Hilary Duff will dive into negative numbers.
And what H/Hr site would be complete without emails from R/Hr shippers flaming them with her responses below each email.
Note that the petition is pretty old, but I figured it still should be posted. And as always, if this has been posted before and I just completely missed it, don't hesitate to tell me.

ETA: I have it on the authority of an anon that this petition is a joke. For the sanity of the fandom, I surely hope it is.
Return of the ETA: Apparently otter_snow's site has been voted top site on a list of H/HR support sites. Though there's only two sites listed... and the second site is Sugar Quill ...wait a second...
