She ain't Katie, she's my daughter
Small and kinda old wank from first-time poster.. please no hurties! I looked around the archives here and on a few large Potter sites, but didn't found anything on it. And so, I present you...

When Katie Leung's name first appear on the net as Cho Chang's actress, this was the first picture of her available online. The picture was published by many media around the world, including Singapore's The New Paper in their article about Katie-hate on the internet.

Not long after, one Madam Lam Ping Fong called the newspaper's office, and insisted that the published picture was of her daughter Ho Hoi Ki, and not of the actress, citing it as "vicious games played by her former secondary school classmates". She wanted them to "straighten things out", so the New Paper reporters went and look for themselves.

'This is obviously her. The jaw and mouth are exactly alike, and she has the same clothes and cap,' Madam Lam said, as Hoi Ki nodded in agreement.

However, according to the reporters,

Oops. Hoi Ki didn't look like the girl in the photo we had published. Wearing a pair of white plastic spectacles, the reed-thin girl flashed a buck-toothed smile as Madam Lam ushered us in.

We pointed out further obvious differences: The actress had long hair, while Hoi Ki said her hair had always been short. The actress had pierced ears, and Hoi Ki didn't.

To which Madam Lam responded

'The vicious friends must have used a computer to add in all those things.'

If she was on the HP internet fandom, she'd fit right in, no?
