Worst of all, f_w seems to be about how much they hate drama online.

I may be just a lowly mousie, but here I thought f_w actually loves online drama. If you hate something, you want it to end, and if there are no stupid people doing stupid things online, what's left to laugh about there?

Yet they seem to be impervious to the idea that in many cases, it is almost uniquely to blame for the drama, as its members troll, make pointless and insulting comments to push up the post count, keep flamewars burning, and generally turn a thread judged to be "wanky" into even more of a mess than it originally was.

Doesn't that sound more like the lj_drama people?

If most of these "I hate drama and wankers" people would simply not reply to a post that offends them or would delete comments that were guaranteed to start a flamewar, there would be much less wank.
