Yaaaay for "Moofy" wank!
By that, I mean "Yaaaay for Fullmetal Alchemist, Elitism, and Fanon Names" wank. There are spoilers in this one too, but only for those who haven't seen past episode 25. Be warned. I'll put it under a cut, just in case.

Place: fanficrants, of course. neo_arkadia rants about the Dub fans "dubbing" a certain mystery boy (aka "Moofy" to sub fans, Wrath to the rest of us) as "Jonas" and how he doesn't want to read a fic with the wrong name in it.

Too bad he said for ficcers to call the kid "Moofy", which makes his post a little stupid sounding, and it sounds like he's telling people to follow Fanon instead of Canon.

zannechaos shows up and flips her shit about Moofy. Several others join in, barking at neo_arkadia about how they don't have to call the mystery boy "Moofy" just because the subbers did.

yuuo chimes in, stating that Fanon will do what Fanon wants, and that it's not up for us to tell who what name to use.
