HP strikes again!
Over on lj's fanficrants, tikatu pointed out an interesting 'thief' who has started a new RPG in which fanfic story lines may fall victim to their five-finger discounted whim as DBZ and Thunderbirds writers have.

What's worse is this thief is also teh woorst spealler. Just go see their new RPG hagworts cassle, and GOD do I wish I was making that name up. *rubs eyes* The pain... THE PAIN!

Please, spare poor Harry Pottor, lock him in the coomon room, take his hoses points if you have to, give him qiuzez on talking to strangers... just keep him safe from teh thief! *gasp* Dear Lord, the spelling is contagious! Get it off me! Get it off me!

*runs off rubbing hands Lady McBeth like*

Yeah, "hoses points?" Um, no. Especially when she spelled the actual "hose" names correctly.

Whenever I see spelling this bad, I just pretend it's from an alternate universe where English took a different phoenetic route. The delusions keep me warm at night.

*snort* Would I be a bitch if I pointed that it's "Lady MacBeth?"

Sorry, just playing with ya. I have to do something to drown out the weeping of my spellcheck key.

Only if I'm one for pointing out that the B isn't capitalized.

Maybe you can find out how to do that if you sign up for "Drak Arts" class... or maybe there's a "poustion" you could take that'll fix it.

I'm thinking the same thing. I always get suspicious when I see the word "ain't" written out. That's pounded into oblivion as a non-word early on.

It's not easy to fake a writing pattern.

Oi.

That thing has a plot? Where?

And who in their right mind would want to associate themselves with that? {overuses italics}

If it were me:

Conscientious Person: "Wait a second...this plot is familiar. Isn't this like your fanfic?"

Me: "No."

CP: "Dude, seriously, it's just like your fanfic, I think she ripped you off--"

Me: "No. No, she didn't."

CP: "She did! She really did! You should tell her off or something, point out that she stole it in your lj--"

Me: "She didn't steal it."

CP: "But look, the summary matches your summary nearly word for word--"

Me: "No, it doesn't." {even though it does}

CP: "Hers is just misspelled--'Tis yer at hagwarts skul of wizcrap and wizardy, studints muzt fake new perlis--'"

Me: "It's coincidence." Firmly. "Coincdence."

CP: "I really think they--"

Me: {punches them in the face, gets a baseball bat, and beats them until they have too much brain damage to remember the whole incident.}
