When Bloggers Attack!
Mark Sarvas is a lit blogger who has carried a significant -- and loud -- hate-on for "journalist, commentator and fiction writer" Steve Almond for the last few years.

A response from Almond, The Blogger Who Loathed Me, appeared in Salon today. The article (which is deeply funny and well worth reading) recounts Sarvas' behavior when he and Almond finally met face-to-face at a lit convention and offers stinging commentary on Sarvas' own writing.

Sarvas' initial response isn't particularly interesting (it reads much like the million and one "I'm so amused! Don't you see how hard I'm laughing?! You didn't affect me at all, and I can prove it if I JUST... KEEP... TALKING... ABOUT... HOW... HARD... I'M... LAUGHING!!!" responses we've seen from people who make FW), but things get better in the comments when people fail to support Sarvas as he thought they would and he pissily shuts off further comments with a rousing rendition of "The Lurkers Support Me in Email" (by five to one, no less!).
