Over in [info]house_md, someone posts a spoiler about an upcoming episode of House.

Cue the Cameron hate, followed by cries of "can't we all just get along?", "it's just fiction/she's not real", and "OMG your Cameron hate is repressing me OMG".

Which is then followed up by another post with more of the same...

The moral of this wank: Dun be h8in'.

I am always completely in love with this reasoning: "You defend a fictional character = you have no life and take fandom too seriously. I hate a fictional character and want he/she/it to die = I am teh cool"

The one episode of House I saw led me to the conclusion that their hospital is staffed entirely by assholes who should all fall into an open sewer and die, so what's so specifically horrific about that particular asshole?

I've told my s/o and my sisters that if ever I'm in a bad way and the only chance I have is with someone like House, let me die.

Nothing against Hugh Laurie, mind. I quite liked him in Blackadder. He has a good look going on now, but since I primarily associate him with Blackadder when people get all crazy about how House is tehsexors I go..."huh?"

And I understand House is a major Vicodin addict so the chances of him having tehhawtsex0rs with anyone are not good.

I much preferred it when canthlian's sarcastic remarks about the state of the fandom got house_md on F_W. I don't like that we now land on F_W thanks to the House fandom equivalent of Harry Potter's Harmonians.

Dude... I resent that, on behalf of the Harmonians who've worked so very hard to become the wankiest wankers who ever wanked! Besides, we've seen ample evidence that Cameron likes/liked House, which is more than can be said for Harry/Hermione.

House fandom isn't allowed to get as wanky as the HP fandom for another six seasons. And even then, I'm hoping the only debates about the "oppression of the black folk" will be caused by something Foreman said, rather than a ship war.

Mmm, shirtless Aussie. Especially one who gets all flustered whenever Cameron talks about sex. He can dish it out, but he just can't take it.

I am a House/Cameron shipper, and I can honestly say that 90 percent of us over at the House/Cam community are NOT anywhere near as batshit insane as the Harmonians. In fact, when we get irritated with the Cameron-bashing over at house_md, we just stay in our own little corner. Most of us don't even read posts at the aforementioned comm anymore unless it's a spoiler, an article/interview, or hot pictures of Hugh.

If you don't like Cameron, that's fine, but then why feel the need to constantly talk about her and bash her? Hell, Chase is my least favorite character on the show, but you don't see me going on all the time about what a rat-bastard he is....
