Baby trollwank at sortinghat_rp.
Okay, so, http://www.livejournal.com/community/sortinghat_rp is a Harry Potter crossover RPG that I sometimes lurk at in order to make fun of it.

A troll (http://www.livejournal.com/users/pureblood_atobe/) makes a journal almost identical in terms of userinfo, ect., to one of the player character journals (http://www.livejournal.com/users/purebloodatobe/) and, I guess, attempts to impersonate that player/character. The troll then proceeds to spam various other journals with rap lyrics and pleas for sex.

When asked who s/h/it is by an irritated player, the oh-so-creative troll replies, "Butt Man." and is banninated.

ETA: The (I'm assuming) player of the trolled character comments on the situation.

Thankfully, not the girl I was thinking of, who happens to be in 6+ HP sorting communites. *never understood the point of them after a brief fling with being a Gryffie at H_E*

Though, I do see two people on that list whom I RP with in other communities at the moment, so I think I'll refrain from giving names since I prefer watching wank to causing it. Nice catch on the player involved commenting, I was about to point that out here but you'd already edited it. XD

A lot of the sorting is based on what the player wants, and sometimes it was just a need to fill in gaps. Like L was originally sorted into Hufflepuff because it had almost no members. It's a crack game in a crack verse so it doesn't really matter too much anyway :D

I've had some problems with players on the comm before, which is why I got so touchy about it--originally I was going to laugh it off, but then I also saw that they were making comments in other people's posts with things like "Quit the game already, you suck" >.<

A couple of RPs that I'm in still allow non-friends comments on the journals of the popular/famous characters, since they should be widely known enough that they'd actually have random fangirls/fanboys pestering them.

In fact, one of them had a birthday recently, so I posted to a few comms about it and he ended up with 200+ comments on his birthday entry. XD Keeping IC journals open for commenting can work, depending on the backstory of the character in question.

Figures. I used to play in a game which featured a lot of the prominent players in this one...and they landed themselves on F_W several times with their posting of IC threads/comments in non-RP journals.
