Emerson the Mean Girl From Highschool
The now infamous Emerson Spartz of Mugglenet and Melissa Anelli of the Leaky Cauldron were at the NYC premiere of the Goblet of Fire movie. They did a podcast from there, hung out with Dan Radcliffe, and Emerson apparently called an H/Hr shipper delusional. I haven't listened to it, but the part with the shippers has been transcribed here by [info]shallow_kid and some may find that wanky enough.

But to make things funner, [info]phoenixwriter writes about how much she hated the podcast and others chime in/show up to tell her off.

Emerson is compared to those mean girls guys in high school, comments are made about how unmasculine his voice sounds, fans accuse each other of not having lives, and the whole delusional thing is hashed out. Again.

(I feel weird for being most wtf about the constant use of "girly," and "like a little girl." Stop, okay, I get there's this whole phys-ed mentality of oh noes being like a little girl, but really.)

I think this is all very high school! or, at least, high school movie. A part of me keeps waiting for aggressive finger-snapping and greasers in tight pants to burst into elaborately choreographed musical numbers.

Is there someone who can translate phoenixwriter into English? I know that there are English words in there, but the bulk of the post seems to be written in Incomprehensible Bullshit and I just didn't study that at school.

As far as I understood podcast can be used like a radio-station. Probably a reason why I found this one by TLC and MNet rather annoying simple because they should have a lot more to offer as 6 guys talking about GoF-Movie.

They have done SEVERAL podcasts. I liked hearing about the movie, as it made me happy to hear that it was very good.

They had Matt on the phone, and that's really all they needed. Neville 4TW!

I heard Emma Watson on the radio yesterday morning. The dj made a joke about running off with Daniel, and Emmas response was something akin to "You people are always trying to put me together with Dan or Rupert!"

and then she went on to say that she's known them too long and they're like her brothers now and it would be wrong to date them. She sounded like she gets this all the time and was getting tired of it. I can't say I blame her.
