Quick baseball wank before the Harmoanians get started and deluge us all, again some more.

While the [info]redsox community is, in fact, for discussing the Boston Red Sox, the occasional post bashing the New York Yankees slips through, because hi, long-standing and vicious rivalry. [info]jizzyjebus makes one such post (which will probably be deleted pretty quickly, as the mods are strict about off-topic posting) asking:

Will someone wear these? Ew. Tino Martinez pants if anyone wants to catch "suck".

Usually, this post would merely be mocked before deletion, as lame jokes and pointless spam are not well-tolerated by [info]redsox members.

However, Yankees fan [info]wyntergirl482 spotted it and pounced.

It's a small wank, but I am always entertained by rival fans wading into a team community, splooging everywhere, and expecting to be taken seriously.

Edited because, yup, deleted. I had a window open, though, so I've got at least part of it saved here.

The hat is an AL East champions hat. It's a bit odd, and really not at all commercial, since you'd probably get it so dirty just walking around in NYC with it, thank you pollution.

I don't see how anyone can hate Schilling - or at least not feel bad for him - after all the gruesome close-ups on the blood oozing out of his ankle during the World Series. [/Sox fan] (Yeah, this would be my high-school bedroom...)

I'm a die-hard Sox fan, but Tino Martinez is a nice guy with very nice, um, pants. *ahem* I mean, why pick on him when there's A-Hole, and the Balco Twins, and Kevin Brown, and Randy Johnson, and all those other overpaid under-achieving losers?

I am amused that I happen to be wearing my "Yankees Suck" shirt right now. :P

My friend and I, Yankees fans from small boyhood, both of us, believe that taking Brown out behind the woodshed and putting him out of his misery is the best thing for everyone. No one would lose, especially not Our Boys.
