Wank in the Mix
It seems not all is well in Britney Spears land..
Not only has her husband kentucky fried whatever transformed into a party-cracker rather than a dad. The hyped launch-party of her new Remix album seems to have flopped as well.

Naturally it all starts over at the beloved Oh no they didnt community.
Here diosabellissima places a nice entry about the fact that the release party was totally lame.

The party itself was meant to be an exclusive release party for Britney fans, where they could celebrate the fact the the remix album came out. You had to be placed on an guestlist and needed to be over 18 and pay the $10 entry fee. It was organised mainly by the owner of World of Britney aka Ruben, and he had some help from Britney herself (who put some money in it) and her label. All in all it was so exclusive that instead of 500 only 230 people showed up and left after awhile. While the party was taking place people were entertained with some autographed prices they could win, some lame goodies that they could get, and by seeing shows by her own dancers and the drag performers doing their own britney thing.
Let's not forget that the Mc of the onyx tour was there along with Britney's brother. WoW!

So the writer wasn't very impressed by all of this and thus posts the entry. It gets picked up by a britney forum and people start commenting that this was to be expected since Rube organised it. It seems that poor Ruben isn't very popular in Britney fan land.

Naturally Ruben lashes back in true style;

One girl doesn't get what she expects out of the party, writes it on a journal, and everyone uses that as fuel to bring the party down. Nice ! Britney doesn't deserve to have fans as some of you guys here....you seem to be a bunch of ungrateful losers sitting around infront of your computers thinking that you deserve to be given something, anything.

If Britney wouldn't have paid for this party, it would never have happened. For this to be a "fan inspired" event, the amount of official Britney crew that was there and was gathered was far beyond anything that was expected. The problem with you all is that you expect too much. You shouldn't...mainly because you don't even deserve it.

The party was a total success.....people had an amazing time and that's what it was all about. A lot of work went into it, and I am laughing at those that are in denial, or think that it flopped. If I haven't mentioned anything on WoB it's because I don't have to, and I took some days off...

Jive had nothing to do with this party, it was all me, Dan and Britney....and those 3 names are gonna continue popping up in the future, to your dismay.....and to my grin. I expected someone to come out and trash the event....just like anything Britney does gets trashed, including her last tour....but that's why most of you will never ever be able to get any closer to Britney than your computer screens.....so, ROCK ON !
