She's Baaaaack!
Sueric strikes again! This time she received a review from Eponine regarding her fic imPurity. (you know, the one that keeps spawning other novels, characters, one shots, KagomexInuyasha hanyou offspring?)

The review was promptly deleted *3 times* by Sueric because Eponine wasn't taking the risk of contracting an STD kissing her ass like a good little minion.

Eponine, now realizing that it wasn't a computer error on her part that kept removing the review, proceeded to fanfic rants to get the support of others, not even realizing that she had stumbled into teh_Sueric!

The good people of fanfic rants kindly pointed her in our direction, and now Eponine is an expert on all things Sueric!Wanky. But the best is yet to come...

As a result of receiving that ONE review, Sueric has now locked her review board to MM.org members only. (Fun bonus side note: look who reviewed second from the top... THEY'RE SWARMING!!)

And in other news, the flaying of Sueric on FFN continues...

EDIT: We now have confirmation that Sueric has actually PLANNED through Purity 10!!

This was e-mailed to me by one of her Legions of Terror who is apparently not so brainwashed that they can't see how utterly ridiculous this is:

Post subject: The World of Purity

Because I've been asked this a few times, here is a general listing of ideas
or other general Purity information.

To date, the list of Purity:

Purity (the orignal InuYasha/Kagome story)
Enervate (posted under pseudonym 'Arven' on Media Miner ... it's the story
of the woman in the moon)
Purity 2: Defiance (Toga and Sierra's story)
Purity 3: Forever (Ryomaru and Nezumi/Deirdre's story)
Purity 4: Justification (Gin/Cain and Kichiro/Belle's stories)
Purity 5: Phantasm (Bas and (Kit)Sydnie's story)

In the works:

Purity 6: Shameless (Jillian's story)
Purity 7: Subterfuge (Evan's story)
Purity 8: Anomoly (Mikio's story)
Purity 9: Volition (??????????)
Purity 10: Rebirth ((Mamoruzen)Gunnar's story)

This list is subject to change ... at the moment, that is what is planned.

- Note: Yes, this message was originally posted in a locked forum, but anyone can view it so long as they have a valid e-mail addy.

Aaah, I was wondering when this would end up here.

As to Sueric... not even my fandom and I've still heard of her. Only goes to prove you can't get rid of good things roaches.

Saving it for the lovelies that will probably get here too late to see it:

From BleedingLife169, on FFN:
Dear Sueric,
I have a bone to pick with you, several in fact. Have you no idea what the meaning of CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM is?
Really, I have to tell you, I think you're a pretty good author, but really, as a person, you seem to be, well, there's no other nice way to put it, petty, whiny, and you like to victimize yourself. I mean really, I have seen, and I know from experience that nearly every review that did not sing praises of your excellence was deleted. I'm willing to bet that you didn't even read them. And most of these reviews AREN'T flames, they're just reviews, telling you that you that your story is great, but that on certain aspects you could improve.
What's the word for that...
Hm, I know it...
I'm pretty sure you know it too,
Wait I've got it
It's called CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM!
Duh.
I'd stopped reading this story for a while because I was getting bored with the plot, and frustrated by your lack of response to reviewers who weren't try to put you down, but, you know, help you improve your writing.
So when I came back to read this story, and found out all that had been going on with it, was I surprised?
No not really.
Because, from what I've seen of you and I'll admit it hasn't been much, but certainly enough- it seemed to fit something petty enough for you.
I mean for Crissakes the girl was FOURTEEN, hardly enough of a reason to boycott a website, and get your loyal fans (cough, cough *groupies*) to rise up against her.
In you profile it says you have children, well, I wonder how you would feel if your kid made a dumb mistake, and a grown woman decided to say nasty thing about her, and get other people to say nasty things about her too. I pretty sure you'd be pretty peeved, I'm pretty sure you'd understand what I'm about to say here too.
Get over yourself, and get over it.
You're a grown woman, learn how to take some criticism, and learn how to shut up about things that aren't of huge consequence.
You're making this all seem like it something it's not.
And for gods sake don't make it seem like this is more serious than it really is. I mean you got people to verbally attack this girl.
And please don't feed me the line that you didn't mean for them to attack her, because if you didn't you wouldn't have posted how you felt about this girl in your story and on your page. It's pathetic really.
Yes I do understand that you've been wronged, and yes I understand that you're angry.
But are you justified in your actions?
No, not really.
I think that people like you are better off not being on FFN anyhow, people like you are part of the problems that FFN, has. To be perfectly honest I think what you really need, is to remove that stick from up your keister, and to take some writing classes so you can handle some CC, and maybe even learn some better sportsmanship too. (Like not attacking 14 year olds, even if they were wrong)
And yes, I'm quite aware that this review probably will never even get a chance to be read, because you'll more than likely delete it.

Good Riddance.

Eh.

You know, my fanfiction choices are more often decided by the summary and not the reviews. I usually only read reviews if I think it looks dumb to see how many people have praised it mindlessly. Not to mention that reviews often have spoilers. But my point is, I hardly care if I get a less-than-happy response on my own fanfiction.

Also, am I correct in understanding that Sueric's previous whining prompted the movement that instilled some kind of bizarre anti-CC rule on Mediaminer? Or did I read a previous wank wrong?

MM.org should implement a feature to keep track of deleted reviews. It would show the number of deleted reviews vs the number of remaining reviews, show the average ratings for deleted reviews vs. remaining reviews, and maybe even show the individual ratings for deleted reviews. That way readers would be able to get at least a hint of an idea of what the authors are trying to sweep under the carpet.

Good grief. The ass-kissing parade would be funny if it wasn't so disgusting. What's the point if having a bunch of yes-men (yes-fans?) telling you only what you want to hear? I'd rather get a review that's part praise and part concrit; at least I'd know they're being honest. Praise means so much more coming from an honest reviewer.

Sueric, these reviews of yours mean nothing. You could be the best fanfic writer on earth, but mindless fawning is no indication of good writing.

Oy, vey. For crying out loud, Sueric, just take some criticism, would ya? Sadly, I don't think that's gonna happen.

I've read "Purity 5" recently. It's more or less a bloody cliche to the many Inuyasha fics I've read. I usually don't say this, but Sueric, can you come up with a different plot for a change?

For you, though, I will make this sacrifice.

PS - It appears everyone was correct about Inugrrrl being your understudy. Perhaps she can give you some tips on writing lemons. The sex would be disturbing, but at least it wouldn't be full of euphemisms.

PPS - Nevermind the above suggestion. I just pictured a euphemistic lemon with disturbing sex in it and promptly lost my breakfast.

It was really nice</i>: I could not bring myself to give you a 10 or else I'd have to cap myself.
