Teeny-but-fun Gravitation Review Wank
Gurabiteshiyon.net is a fanfiction.net-esque site that only archives Gravitation fanfic. On this website, newbie yukistwin posts a story in "dream format", which apparently means that punctuation is optional.

This inspires some fun reviews:

Anon 1:
Periods are your friend.
Ellipses are not.
This story really needs a mend.
Stop with the dot dot dot.

Paragraphs are good, too.
And other punctuation.
A beta would help this goo.
Right now, there's no fascination.

Fan DyingAngel, who apparently also types in "dream format" calls the first anon "bitchy". Which inspires another Anon to defend Anon #1 and a tl;dr review on the subject of ellipses.

Then comes this review by "SHUICHI'S MAD!"
You know if people read Eiri's disclaimer at the top of the story they would see that HE TELLS YOU IT"S NOT IN PROPER FORMAT YOU*&%#@% BUNCH OF #%#^@!!*&@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So don't rip up my Yuki just because YOU didn't take 10 seconds to read the fine print!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT"S RIGHT EIRI, I GOT YOUR BACK!!!!

Well, isn't that special?

ETA: BALEETED!

Does this "Shuichi's Mad" person not know any decent foul language? Or does the entirety of his reading material consist of Gravitation fic and the Sunday morning comics?

Aw

If someone would take the time to write me a review, even a bad one, as a little poem, I would be ever so flattered ^^

Yeah, I thought the poem was really cute. Of course, it's kind of late here, so it could be just me.

I did that once. (Wrote a poem as a review, I mean.) The author loved it - though mine was a positive review so that's not too surprising.

And your icon is great. ^_^

My life shall remain incomplete until I receive the following series of reviews: one in haiku, one in iambic pentameter, and one in free verse.

Your icon is joy
of sock-twirling proportions!
Yes, love me some Giles.

Uh, yes. Right. Um:

We hold these truths to be self-evident.

Pay no attention to the Jefferson twirling in his grave. And, er:

Yes, his love-
-liness is visible to
all
everyone
all on this earth
of ours, glorious
and many-splendored as is
his snark.

How's that?

Considering that punctuation seems optional on about 90% of the Internet, I don't really see what the Anon is so upset about.

So, it's okay to violate the rules of grammar if I'm going to say that I know I'm doing so?

Yeah, that would have really flown in my English classes.

Okay, I'd like a review like that. Short and sweet, and I can dance to it.

The title of the page, however, makes my eyes cross. Couldn't they just say "Gravitation" and get it over with?

"yukistwin" has the word "vampiress" in its e-mail. Another point against them. "Vampiress" isn't a word any more than "authoress" or "werewolfess". Isn't there a Jurisimprudence law about using words like that...?

Considering that in canon, Yuki is an actual writer (well.. a writer of scandalous porn... hunh, I wonder if he would end up sporked on the weepingcock community?) I think he would kill anyone, never mind a sibling, for misusing punctuation.

Man, I'd pay to watch that. Death by cigarette burn, and possibly, violation with a bourbon beer bottle.
