From the E!Online boards yesterday morning, losmaven, a fan of Arrested Development that is bitter about its cancellation, has a THERE-I-SAID-IT moment:

Because I watch Arrested Development, I'm a better person than those who do not. You actually have to be an idiot not to like it. I don't want to hear about different tastes and whatnot. If you don't "get" that show, there something wrong with you. It's true... I may sound like a television elitist and that's fine. Because the fact that I enjoy Arrested Development makes it true.

And when someone suggests he was being facetious, he expounds, apparently with a total lack of irony:

I'm sure there are "smart" people who don't like Arrested Development. But these people are just book smart. I don't care if you come back to me and say you're a brain surgeon or a physisist. That doesn't mean anything to me. For those who do enjoy AD you probably understand the difference between "Smart" and just "Book smart"
