Hey, I heard of gigglecam before.

Live Journal instituted a posting limit a few months ago... I think they decided not to enforce it, but there was a lot of complaining. Gigglecam was pointed out by her fellow LJ users as a one of the people who made the posting limits necessary. She made 311 journal entries on 9/11, and it's not unusual for her to make more than 20 entries per day in her own journal. That doesn't count entries in communities. She's made 12,743 journal entries since April 2000, and has posted 30,813 comments.

Okay, so gigglecam has posted 12,743 journal entries since the beginning of April 2000. That's 1,156 days. Let's cut her some slack and subtract the 681 entries she made on Sept 11, 12, and 13 (she was probably upset, eh?). So her more normal posting pattern would give us 12,062 journal entries in 1,153 days, which is 10.46 journal entries per day.

If we also include comments, we get 42,875 posts in 1,153 days (eliminating journal entries from 9/11 again). That's 37.2 journal entries and comments per day. If she sleeps 8 hours per day, that would give her 2.3 posts per hour, 16 hours per day, 7 days a week for over 3 years.

Emphasis on the word "if", I'm guessing.

What about leap years, power outages, the intervention of friends and family, and other acts of nature? Does she go into overtime, or does she live in a pocket of time that somehow overrides all these factors?
