Saving Katrina victims by replacing one Sailor Moon comic at a time!
In The Name of the Moon's webmistress would like you to help her recover from the devastation Hurricane Katrina caused her by donating money to replace her Sailor Moon collection.

Unfortunately, there is no comments regarding donating to her in the guest book. Unfortunately, she keeps deleting all negative guest book entries.

EDIT: To see the other lovely Sailor Moon wank that was posted here, please see this post (or just scroll down to the next post).

Edit #2: Fixed "mistress" to "webmistress". Ehehe.

Edit #3: To clairify the possible "she sounds like a teenager, is she a teenager?" questions (verbalized or thought), she claims to be 22.

Edit #4: The webmistress has decided to address the three deleted guestbook entries concerning her need of money to replace her lost Sailor Moon goods.

Well, after a good long cry and an even longer day at work, I'm finally able to respond to a few painful posts written in my dreambook during the past day. Since the three failed to leave any contact information.. this is the best that I can do.

The post topics were pertaining to my request for funds to aid me in my effort to replace my Sailor Moon collection that I lost during Hurricane Katrina. Saying that I am an 'embarrassment to humanity' is a little harsh isn't it?. Hey, like many of the others out there, I lost everything.. not just my anime and manga collections. The photos of my house can attest to that. I can't really do any major updates to INM until I can replace these items and I have a few other things... like food and shelter that are a bit higher priority right now. So.. not that I've ever had a donation for INM before.. I thought this might be a good place to let the fans of my site help me out a bit. I apologize if I seemed like a 'coward' but rather than name calling, I think it's more important to try to continue to hold ourselves together the best we can and push past this tragic event. Thank you.

And, for everyone else out there, thank you for supporting INM over the past four years. It's people like you that has kept this site going and is giving me the strength of will to push past this trying time. To you, thank you and god bless.

Apparently her knowledge of the internet and its usages only extends to paypal and her website. Using the internet to download is far too complicated to understand.

Edit #5: In her newest update, the webmistress says the following: "Some are saying, can't you get them free on the internet? Well, I suppose I could.. but isn't that a bit illegal?"

Edit #6: It seems that the webmistress has recieved enough funds to reopen her website. Her paypal button is still up though so you can still help her buy back her DVDs! In return, she's going to "I plan on creating a ton of new animated gifs as well as redoing the images for the still waiting to be updated Great Endings section" with her new DVDs. The voice of reason guest book entry has been deleted or is the screened comment not viewable to the public.

During the hurricane, I lost my entire manga and anime collection, not to mention many many other personal items... clothing.. stuffed animals... and pictures that no amount of money can replace. (And all my Sailor Moon DVDs T.T) The button below is not a scam. Any money donated during this period will be going to replacing the anime and manga that I have lost due to the flood waters.

I'm just throwing it out there, but you might want money to help replace your clothes, maybe get another place to live... You know, stuff you need.

(Also, puipui is awesome.)

....huzzawah? Donations for her...manga collection. Ok, granted, some shit may be difficult if not impossible to find now, but bitch, please. I'll be buying myself the DVDs before I cough up the cash so she can buy her copies back.

I do like how her Paypal button is cleverly labelled "Katrina Donations" instead of "Donations so my lazy ass doesn't need to spend my own money to re-buy the silly shit I honestly don't need before, say, food."

The funny thing is, while it looks as if she really was hit hard by the hurricanes, and I did donate -- as I'm sure many of y'all did -- to a hurricane victims' fund (with the money, of course, going I know not where, but I assume to necessities), I wouldn't give a dime to someone to replace comics. Clothes, diapers, water -- sure. Comics? Huh uh. Perhaps if I were an anime fan I'd feel differently.

I lost some stuff in a flood a couple years ago. Someone donated money to replace these items, which included some DVDs and a MiniDisc player.

This someone was Metlife, to whom I send money each year as a show of my appreciation.

Wait, did I say "appreciation?" I meant "premium for my renters' and automobile policies."

...See, when I first read this, I thought she had some kind of gallery or media archive that she took down from the internet, and was going to let people 'buy back' by donating to Katrina help funds so that she'd put her stuff back up. Which would be a strange way to get people to donate, but at least they'd BE donating, right?

And then I read the comments.

Um. I really have nothing I can say about the truth of the matter to make it any less ludicrous to my poor brain.

I tried to think of something to say, but the request speaks for itself. You lost everything. Work on what you NEED, then, not on what you want. Fandom's like breathing and all that good stuff, but, honestly? If you were dying on the streets would you rather someone send you to the hospital or give you manga?
