(Mistakenly posted to my JF in the fit of enthusiasm... ^^;;)

Yup, new author comes in with her legion of sockpuppets friends to attack, this time from the Road to El Dorado fandom:

Highlights include the anonymous poster repeatedly saying "You are all less intelligent than Neanderthal" (Irony... too... staggering... *collapses*), and this quote:

IF YOU DON'T LIKE MARY-SUES WHY DO YOU READ THEM? ARE YOU A MAN TRYING TO FIND THE BEST WAY TO BECOME A WOMAN? BECAUSE I MAY SAY THAT ALL WOMEN IN THE WORLD WOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEIR GENDER IF YOU BECOME ONE... I WONDER IF MEN ARE ASHAMED OF YOU BEING ONE (YOU SEEM A MAN... PLEASE, DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE A WOMAN BECAUSE I WON'T BELIEVE YOU).

Wow, I always wanted to be a transexual lesbian! :D


Edit: Dude, I forgot to point out that the same post the all-caps quote was from not only accused almost all of the the MSR to be transgendered, but also managed to later maul not one, but TWO languages at once:

Summarizing, don't read AJ's stories if you don't like it, and your masochism (it reminds me a Spanish word, "chismoso". Try to find what it means, if you want)won't suffer anymore.

(The "masochism" thing should be obvious, but here's a quick explanation of the other thing so you don't have to go back there if you don't want to: chismoso = "gossipy person" in Spanish.*)

Why does she make such a big deal about it in her profile if she doesn't care? :) I especially like how on one story (I think it was the one that got flamed) there's a negative review, one that says NC-17 fics aren't allowed, and three consisting of nothing but the author's Bestestest Friends defending the authors and insulting the 'bad reviewers'' intelligences. And that was all the reviews. Something to think about, no? XD

Hang on a tick.. *leafs through 'Tobin's Trouser Guide: Demon Hotpants Edition'* Aha! Found it! The light refractions from Mary-Sue's constantly changing eye colour should set off a chain reaction in the banned far eastern vintage dyes... *turns page* which will cause the Mary-Sue to explode while the bellbottoms simultaneously implode... destroying both trews and Mary-Sue.

This only works on pants constructed before 1972 or Mary-Sues devised during recess.

*slams book shut* In short it's safer to go with Crossing The Threads. Or to hope for someone running onto a ML/LJ screaming about how terrible it is someone's 'puffball skirted' them.

Moreover, I always associated bad Mary Sues with... well, teenyboppers. Not someone around my age. o.o; Geez, at least look like you paid attention in skool school!

It's my understanding that most Mary Sue writers are teenyboppers. But a few are older, and although they're less numerous, individually they can be bad.

Woo...I was a participant in a truly scary wank! *swoons with joy* ;P

I adore the fact that they changed their Pit of Voles user info just because of us...I feel all special now! Or dirty. Possibly both.

But I laughed so hard at their retorts that I nearly burst something. They seem to have given up and gone away for the moment. The funny thing was the person they were accusing of leaving a link or review on ff.net didn't do anything of the sort.

This girl is fucking stupid.

She's going to get more flames, more bad press and more people telling her she's a moron. All because she got this indignant need to 'defend her friends and family'. Who will now be flamed right alongside her for thinking they can take on a rather large group of mary sue haters.
