"Will & Grace" Wank
Over on willandgrace, cyrus_of_persia has written a rant about how he feels "Will & Grace" is doing a disservice to gay men and to women in general, due to Jack being an effeminate gay male and Grace being "dainty"/"effeminate". The rant itself is very wanky (basically asserting that everybody who sees the portrayal of a stereotype of a gay person or a woman automatically thinks all people within that group behave that way), and demonstrates either a woeful lack of knowledge about the show (since when is Grace "dainty"?) or a gross misinterpretation of what it's trying to convey. His argument is very poorly-constructed, citing only one quote from the show to back his claims up. He also almost completely ignores the characters of Will (who's a gay man but doesn't act exceedingly effeminate) and Karen (who's quite a strong female character). Apparently, he also thinks his sexuality is relevant to the argument at hand, stating in the opening sentences of his post that he's bisexual.

Not surprisingly, members of the community think he's full of crap, and proceed to lay it on thick. However, cyrus_of_persia will not be swayed!!!

rah62 starts off an argument with the OP when he says: It's *entertainment*. Feel free to hit the "off" button if you don't like it. cyrus_of_persia, however, completely ignores the point rah62 is trying to make, and for whatever reason invokes Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. This thread soon degenerates into a short round of bickering in which cyrus_of_persia tries to make himself look like some champion of rights because he critically (over-)analyzes TV shows. Bonus oh-so-clevrsmrat insult: "I feel sorry for your friends."

kuriin tells cyrus to get laid and a life. He apparently does not know how to respond to this. WOE.

Later on down in the comments, yousexxehthang points out that the OP's argument makes it seem like he's seen very little of the show. Cyrus demands how this seems to, and ignores all the other points yousexxehthang tries to make, suddenly making the proclamation that "Sometimes what is popular isn't always right; sometimes what is right isn't always popular." with absolutely no rhyme or reason behind it.

cyrus_of_persia then screams of ZOMGOPPRESSION when the_q_tip accuses him of mentioning his sexuality as an attempt to gain sympathy.

And finally, in the wankiest proclamation yet, cyrus_of_persia responds to virtualsarcasm telling him that he fails to sound smart in his argument by... ... saying he's standing up for womens' rights. No, I don't get it either.

Like a good wanka, I am saving as much of this wank I can in the case of bahleetion. Fortunately, cyrus_of_persia seems determined to bicker with nearly every commenter, so I don't see bahleetion forthcoming any time soon.
