An unwelcome disruption of cartoon grief!
Over at someposifeed, the lastest three pages of Something Positive are posted. Davan's mom is shown dead, having went peacefully in her sleep, on the last page.

The local dumbass, jassa, replies "BOOBIES!!" (Apparently, there's a running joke about this that I just don't get.)

So far, over a hundred replies, ranging from "STFU" to "make me!" Small, but amusing.

It's pretty much just a hit-and-run posting shtick that she's been doing for over a year now. Anyone who's read the someposifeed at all in the past 12 months should have expected it.

I mean, yeah...it was a sad moment in the strip and all, but there really wasn't any reason to get that bent out of shape over something that's pretty much clockwork. New strip? New "BOOBIES!!" post by Jassa. Lather, rinse, repeat. *shrug*

It's some kind of tradition from Something Awful (I think it's SA).

Anyways, the idea is in a new topic, the first reply or some such is always "Boobies", for some reason. Jassa's spreading the love or something.

I acutally asked Jassa in that thread if they even read the comic. Their reply was nope. Which was what I thought.

On fark.com, if you make a post in a discussion thread that says 'First!', the system automatically sets it to post 12 hours later with the text 'boobies'. The filter also turns any incidence of someone saying the word 'first' into the word 'boobies'.

A very common, and imo valid, definiton of evil is the propensity and willingness to cause harm to the undeserving and/or unknown for personal benefit or whim.

Jassa in spoiling the mood that the fans reading this thread come on to bask in, makes tons of people uncomfortable for no reason other than to be an attention-grabber. It's immature at the least, and sociopathic at the worst.
