I missed all the fun, but wankprophet's command of invective is just *inspirational*. I only wish I'd seen whatever prompted it. It's incredible how ugly a simple thread can get, and how quickly. I guess whether you see this new community as an oppression or an opportunity depends on whether you want to comment rationally or to take a flame-thrower to people you don't like. Anonymice can do either, and run the same risk of being deleted as anyone else. Do you really think member status is going to make a difference to that?

I sort of love the fact that there's wank from mice about journals for mice. It's so amazingly dumb! And then I don't love it, cause otf_wank has turned off anon comments & I don't want FW to go the same way.

Also, that is a seriously cool community, and when I can find five posts that I signed AT THE TIME, without a "btw that was me" tacked onto the thread, I will be crawling over there & offering bribes making my plea politely and with all respect for the rules. Etc.
