Nippon Ichi GameFAQs wank
Well, Disgaea 2 is coming out fairly soon (actually just came out in Japan though apparently the importers haven't gotten their copies yet/are too busy playing) and the fandom is wondering what exactly the game is going to be like. Discussions of mechanics, characters, and the latest news abound, though it stays reasonably polite (for GameFAQs).
Enter icyslash, who doesn't like powerleveling tricks and says that "They need to stop making glitches or ways for people to level insanely, because it hurts the value of the game."
People object, especially to the glitches comment. They try to get the real meaning of 'gitch' to icyslash, who counters with:
"In video games, a glitch is a term used by players to indicate a bug or programming error of some sort. It may refer to either a helpful or harmful error, but never an intended behavior.

Posters try to explain that powerleveling tricks may not have been meant to be as exploitable as they are, but they're not glitches as they are just the natural expansion of the game engine, especially in Nippon Ichi games, where a good chunk of the point is to grind up to ridiculous levels to do ridiculous damage to ridiculously powerful bosses. icyslash stays immune to logic and keeps bringing up the idea of a trick in Makai Kingdom that apparently does not actually exist. Meanwhile the topic veers more into Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom territory and away from Disgaea, which makes the whole thing a little more pointless.
