Good Old Fashioned GAFF Wank- Just like Grandma use to make
Rageful Jewel sporks a fic called "Hermione's Choice" and the author shows up to defend herself.

SFPanther only posts two more times. Things calm down and true wank is not to be had...

At least not until SFPanther's sock puppet super nanny anonymous friend shows up to set the GAFFers straight.

Damn, Hermione Granger brings all the wank to the yard these days.

I think what bothers me the most is this woman is a mother of a young girl and she can have Hermione's parents react so casually to their underage daughter having sex with one of her professors.

They're proud of her. Yes, I understand that it does no good to yell at her or tell her she's wrong, but I'm not even a parent and my first reaction would be, "Oh really? Let's see, you're not going back to school until that pervert is brought up on charges."

Oh god, I just got to the post from the anonymous friend.

...the writer has been raped, abused, lost custody of her children, been in a car "wreak", has manic depression, and lost two grandparents "8 days apart in the same month".

(By the way, that last part? So helpful! Because if it had been, say January 28 and then February 6th, it wouldn't have nearly the same impact.)

How hard is to rant about 'the victim falls in love with the rapist' cliche in cases where a victim actually falls in love with a rapist and not because of random S/Hr fics? People without reading comprehension trying to make fun of badfic is not a pretty sight.

It's all rather sad. Certainly not the first crappy SS/HG fic ever posted by a mentalist, nor will it be the last. I look stuff like that over, and think it's a bit of an easy sitter for GAFF - too damned easy. Jeez, there's far worse SS/HG out there if they really want to kick something that deserves it...

Sure, the writer is rubbish, but if half of what has been posted is true, her life is rather sad and dismal. I'm of the view that when someone like that comes and defends their stuff, the best thing GAFF should do if they want to display that they are better, is just let them rant and ignore.
