Animal wank
Not fandom, but wankful enough.

Vile_organizm appears to be choking his cat. He posts about it. Wank ensues.

Edit: Friends locked already. That was quick.
Double-edit: It's back. Make up your mind, already.

So much for that. I wanted to see if it was a chain-yanking.

Dang, that was quick. It was a definite chain yank; he'd posted about it in an animal rights group, trolling for responses. But looks like he got more than he'd bargained for.

This is the funniest thing I've read in ages.

I guess that means the cat isn't going to Nimbus, huh?

I think one of the winning comments was on this thread:

I am self-righteous and an asshole. I also think because I know certain things about veganism that I am smarter than you. I probably am in that area.

Wow, so if just knowing stuff about veganism is enough to make you intelligent, then even lowly filthy evil meat-eaters like myself can home to be at least somewhat SMERT! Yay!

And another winner, from this other thread:

I feel sorry for your cat. It has to have an owner like you that has nothing better to do that post pictures and try to make himself seem "goth" and "cool".

I sincerely hope you goth fans on the community are paying attention and taking notes!

Well, mine (like most folks) are edited--they're all my own characters, from a story of mine. n_n

The originals used to be found mostly from here:
http://www.gsarchives.com/neogeopocket/nanim_sprites/cardfightersclash.shtml

but that site seems to have gone under :\

My friend Del uploaded a fair number of'em though:

Gawthic Agenda for Tonite:

1. Put on eyeliner
2. Do Pilates to Bauhaus's "In the Flat Field"
3. Talk to Althea and Spyder on the phone
4. Cry
5. Reapply eyeliner
6. Finish Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite

One of my old roommates used to dangle his cat upside-down for a minute at a stretch. The cat didn't seem to mind. And heck, one of my nicknames for my dog is Big Stupid. He doesn't seem to mind either.

The guy was clearly joking, even before the disclaimer... sheesh. People.

Especially when someone weighed in and said basically that if you know this guy you know he's not really choking his cat. I had a cam pic something like that where my cat decided he didn't want to be on my lap and started struggling and yowling. I let him go but the picture it got made him look like he was in extremis.

My sister's old roommate had a parakeet named Dumb Shit. I don't know what possessed her to name him that but she loved that bird. I thought it was great because I was six years old and could get away with saying "shit". I've called my cats Senile Ornery Old Bastard, Brainless, Demon Seedling and other lovely nicknames. They look at me with pity, figuring it's because I can't bend over and lick my own genitalia like they can.

My parent's cats respond to shithead and shithead too as willingly as they respond to their "real" names. (Pretty willingly, for cats.)

Yeah... My cat'll hang upside down when I hold him, and he doesn't mind either...
I think that guy would have had a lot of trouble trying to do that to an unwilling cat and take a webcam photo at the same time, I mean, c'mon!

This post was encouraging, because it means that I am not alone in suffering with a cat that thinks the clean laundry basket is his own private litter box.

Some of those people have apparently never had cats, otherwise they'd know all of the stuff you can do to cats that seems like torture, but really is just play. Sheesh.

Gotta admit though, my older cat's always been reeeeeal touchy about play. If he'd tried any of that stuff with her, we'd have a picture of him with a nice tasty chunk missing from his head.

I guess I'm used to my cats, who are reeeaally into rough play. My orange one's idea of a good time is being held upside down and give raspberries on his tummy. :-)

Senile Old Fart (real name Billy) used to love that when he was younger! People thought I was nuts or abusive until they actually heard him purr. I'd flip him over on his back and go POOOOOT! Or else I'd thump him on his side and it'd make this hollow sound and he'd purr, if I quit he looked at me like "That's it?" so I had to play Gene Krupa's intro from "Sing Sing Sing With a Swing" or Ron Wilson's from "Wipeout" on his side. He hasn't allowed this for about three years now but I imagine now that he's sixteen there are things he doesn't find fun anymore. With seven cats, they all have varying play preferences and some love rough play and others don't.

Well, cats can also purr when they're upset, not just when they're pleased--but if he gave you that kind of look it sounds like he was probably pleased X3

Oh yeah, one of my cats has this nervous purr when he's at the vet, it's different from his happy purr, as is the body language(crouching, eyes anime-round, watching the vet's every move and wondering if he's going to get a bath-- a fate worse than death for Leo).

Ha ha! My cats won't let me do that, but my black one's favorite hobby is jumping from the top of the bookshelf and body slamming the orange one. Then both of them run madly around the house, sliding into walls at excess of 10mph (we have fake wood floors that don't have much traction). So, yeah, cats can take quite a bit of punishment and keep on going.

Since we're all sharing the "my cat" stories...my Siamese whines like she's having her claws ripped out by pliers when I hold her in my arms like a baby--paws up. She'll be fast asleep and I'll touch her and she'll squeal. Take her in the bathroom and she meows like it's medieval torture.

You gotta love the "OMG! Y R SEW MEEN!" responses, though.

my black cat yells like that when I try to clip his nails...then perhaps it might have had something to do with the one time I tried those "nail caps" and ended up supergluing him, my other cat, and myself together.
