I rather enjoy how everyone in that thread is bringing the food and drinks. It's good to have a sense of humor in fandom. They get points in my book for that.

I was wondering the same myself. I mean...isn't the point of the place to rant about things that annoy them? Otherwise, why call it fanficRANTS. *shakes head* And it's like they're following the trends "Incest is totally acceptable, because it's not real-life, duh!" Uh...but you mock every other thing in a fandom, but in the one place you're supposed to rant in won't allow it.

Okay then. Kettle go find your pot. I'm sure you'll find it with the Harmoanians or something.

Honestly, people take their kinks too seriously. Everyone is different. I have kinks, and I dislike other kinks. I don't get pissy when people rant about my kinks, though. (and believe me, they have been ranted about. And idiots who like the same kink have made asses of themselves in those rants, too.) Everyone just needs to calm down and hit the back button every now and then.

NO RANTING ABOUT INCEST. DO SO AT YOUR OWN PERIL.
At least for the next year or two.

I can (maybe) understand not getting WHY ranting about incest is bad, if the ranter wasn't around for all the wanks, but still, pay attention to the rules.

Dear Supernatural Fandom,

I love my brother and I would protect him with my life. That doesn't mean that I want to fuck him. I can't see brothers sleeping with each other unless something was deeply wrong with them. While Dean and Sam have issues, I doubt that it comes down with that. Just because Dean looks out for Sam and would take a bullet for him does not mean that that he wants him. You can write it and read it but I just can't see it. Its just like Fred and George and Buffy and Dawn, I'll never believe it. All those siblings have chemistry of sorts because *ding ding* they are siblings. Of course they are going to fight, of course they are protective, of course they mock the other one's boyfried or girlfriend because that is what siblings do. Sorry, I don't slash everything with legs but don't tell me that I'm blind and bigoted. Oh yeah, John doesn't want to sleep with them either.
