Y'know, I find myself wondering now...

It seems to be a general rule that everybody on the internet can point to somebody else and say, "that guy is making the rest of us look bad."

For just about everybody, it's the furries.

For the furries, it's the otherkin.

For the otherkin, it's the otakin.

The only thing saving the SMT series is its relative obscurity. If it was well known, the otakin and angelic/demonic otherkin would be all over that like stink on a cosplayer.

Then the Starseeds get the Scientologists.

And quite frankly, a lot of otherkin think furries are nuts right back.

I found a quiz-type thing online once, that determined how likely it was that you're a Starseed. It went something like:

Regular fans who enjoy anime/movies/what have you, who get merchandise or make costumes or whatever, but who don't blow a gasket over OMG TEH MISSTICKLE POWERZ UV MANGA and who think that claiming to be the reincarnation of a fictional character is taking it a smidgen too far.

I mean, those people just ruin fandom for everybody!
