Update!Wank from [info]rann's entry
After succumbing to morbid curiosity and perusing the Sonic yaoi Yahoo group, I came across this lovely 'disclaimer' in the Files section. Let's break it down, shall we?

Hello!

I just wanted to let everyone know about a little policy I have on most the images that have been uploaded (namely, the ones I myself have uploaded).
Currently, all of the images I have uploaded are fan art from Japanese webpages. These pictures do not belong to me, and I take no credit for them whatsoever. Unfortunately, due to my limited knowledge of kanji, I cannot put the artist's name along with their respective pictures. To all the artists out there whose pictures I have used, I apologize deeply.

In other words, you stole pictures, and aren't even going to try to hide it. Wow. At least you're brutally honest about it, if not incredibly stupid. Sorry that you're not h4rdc0r3 enough to even use an online dictionary or something to make even the lamest half-assed attempt to get these artists' names down.

Basically, what I'm asking is this: Do not take these pictures and use them on your webpage for any reason. If you must use a picture, please email me and I will email the artist and ask their permission. Otherwise, please respect the artists' copyrights to their work. Feel free to save the pictures to your hard drives, though ^_^

So it's okay for you to take and redistribute the pictures, but not other people? Riiight. And I'm sure you have this little Excel spreadsheet all set up with the email addresses and web pages to indicate where all of these pics were stolen taken from. Also, if you don't know enough Japanese to even attempt to get someone's name, how exactly are you going to ask for their permission, and summarily know if you've gotten it or not? Not to mention that you're retroactively stating, "I stole your artwork, and I'm wondering if someone else can steal it, too."

Better yet, it's too bad you can't email them in Japanese and ask, "Hey, by the way, how do you pronounce the kanji for your name?"

(hope I don't sound too much like a hypocrite...;;;)

*just dies laughing*

Thank you for your time, and enjoy the list!

Kyuuketsuki Miyu, list okashira

Look! I can write romanized Fangirl Japanese! And apply honorifics to myself so I look even more like a pompous ass!
