More wank from the wankiest Sonic yaoi list to ever wank!
Over on GameFAQs, they're having a summer contest wherein people vote on who would win in a fight between two game characters. The current poll is Auron (from FFX) versus Tails. Some of the list members post to Love's Secret Domain to encourage people to vote for Tails... some go beyond encouraging to DEMANDING people vote for him.
Several people, myself included, point out that as neat as Tails is, in this fight he'd be fox-kabobs.
Miles Prower posts with this fascinating and well-thought rejoinder:

even know who the fuck Auron is! You should be ashamed for not
voting for Tails. I don't feel pity for you, nor any bit of

Don't these people know that it's more of a popularity contest than an actual, statistics-ridden RP battle? I wouldn't say that Tails is so a slouch in this case either, given the enduring popularity of the Sonic series, but Auron takes it because he's more current, and he just IS more "badass" to the fanboys.

By the way, I'll TOTALLY HATE YOU ALL IF YOU DON'T VOTE FOR VYSE IN THE DONKEY KONG VS. VYSE BATTLE!!!!!11!1 < /sarcasm>

Remember, when you're on rabid fan soil, [subject of site] is TEH BESTEST [show/game/movie] EVAR!!!, and [character], the local favorite, COULD KICK ANY1S A$$ 4 TIEMS OMGLOL. Any hint that it has flaws makes you either a philistine, a traitor, or SUX0R depending on the speaker's brand of wankiness.

It's not like the rules must say that you can't vote for your favorite character. Saying that he couldn't win is an excuse. It's the fans that decide. What would someone be doing at LovesSecretDomain if they didn't like Tails? Some people actually appreciate the chance to give him a hand in the tournament. For the members that voted against Tails, we're starting to see your true colors as more Tails yaoi comes in. Love's Secret Domain is a horrible, place, that unites people of a foul intrest. It being deleted would make the world a better place.

Oh, and Auron > Tails, even though Tails is still pretty cool.
