Godzilla. Tokyo. BNFs. SGA. Oh My.
You have to love Stargate Atlantis fandom. It has some very vocal fans and some extremely vocal non-fans. Take for example the new LiveJournal community, SGA_Hate. (Think fanfic_hate and you know exactly how this wank is going down).

To give you some highlights:

First, we get the trashing of the authors. Name calling and the usual. My favorite bits are when people are called crazy. Godzilla and Tokyo are mentioned.

Then, Chopchica gets called a 'nut' and shows up to say she isn't. No, she's more of a cashew, really.

The BNF-bashing starts here and here.

Whining ensues about how SGA has stolen all the good fic writers. It's so sad the Baby Jesus is crying.

And finally, we get insults about the actors themselves -- and that's just on page one!

The anonymous comments just keep coming.
