Mary Simpson AKA Lisa Sue!!
Still rather civil and stuff, but who knows what the future can bring.

Over on the Canon_sues Lj, Kahran042 makes a post accusing Lisa Simpson of being a Mary-Sue.

It's all rather civil, save for the OP claiming that Lisa has no other talents other then being "Very intelligent" and, not having the guts to call Lisa a "Bitch", choosing to envoke astarisks instead.

Edit: I missquoted something. Fixed now.

Someone doesn't understand the difference between a Sue and a character they don't like... (That, or they really just dn't get The Simpsons)

Almost always goes off on some annoying moral crusade, turning what's supposed to be a comedy series into an mouthpiece for the creators.

See, I alway thought they were parodying liberal silliness, but I guess I was wrong.

It's not your intelligence that makes me want to stone you, it's the fact that you bring it up on a friggin' internet forum you tool.

I would bet that part of the reason you're OMG, SO SMRT is because the other 98% doesn't care enough to take "various IQ tests" because they are off, you know, having a life.

1. Isolate a character you dislike, for whatever reason.
2. Establish self as a dangerous rebel against the Murderous Herd of Different Opinion. Include a foreboding interweb challenge in your opening for dramatic flair.
3. Give examples of ANY description the author gives to said character as proof of Sueneptitude, even if they are fairly simple ("long black hair") or all other characters are given the same degree of Sparklypoo characteristics (hullo, CLAMP).
4. Accuse character of trying to make the story all about him/her, even if the story IS all about him/her.
5. Back up accusations as vaguely as possible ("She just has this attitude") or, better yet, with no textual support at all ("I'm sure he would do... "He probably doesn't know...")
6. Most importantly: never, EVER offer concrete textual examples of why the character is a Mary Sue/Gary Stu, instead, insist that "every time he opens his mouth" or "every page she's on/scene she's in" is proof enough in and of itself.
7. Repeat step one. Prepare cross.

I belong to the smartest 2 % of my country's population according to various IQ tests, quite highening my frequency of being right.

Did anyone else take those apititude tests in middle school that gave you a percentile? I'm betting that's what she's going on.

...and wanted to say that I actually deleted my report voluntarily because I realized that it was so poorly-written than no one would ever agree with me, and that I was only making myself look bad with my continued retorts to everyone's comments. Just wanted to clear things up.
