When people disagree and have different opinions, blaming your own opinion on your fricken period results in an automatic FAIL. She sounds like a 13 year-old. Mood swings happen, yes, and can get pretty bad, but this was just a quick, childish excuse to downplay her post. Perhaps she thought everyone will be like "OMG YAH, YR SO RITE!!11 EWW, OLD BATS SHUD STAY AWAY FROM YURI!".

It *was* shallow, what did she expect? Stupid.

Having your period = the new "Don't be mean/don't disagree, I have a rare disease" type of excuse.

Okay, so 1. "an" anime expo? Maybe I'm just out of touch, but I thought that thing I just went to with the thousands of people and the punishing heat and the Priest of Thor guy was sort of... THE Anime Expo. Am I wrong on this?

2. If anyone, gender/age/hotness notwithstanding, with whom I was not acquainted said that to me, anywhere, "Ew, I am so grossed out" would not be the appropriate reaction. Walking away from the uninvited sharer of TMI would be.

4. There is no temporal cutoff point for having personal preferences, you ageist twit.
