Warren Ellis is leaving LJ omg!

Apparently he had requested in plain, simple terms that people stop commenting fanfic in his LJ entries or he'll have to leave LJ.

A month later, someone posts fanfic in his journal. Ellis promptly leaves LJ. The other fans dogpile the idiot. Much fun is had by onlookers.

Warren seems to have switched off comments on the entry that violated his no-fic rules... I'm sure he was getting sick of comment notifications of people ripping the violator a new one.

He also had a link to the lj of the nerd who caused the problem. When I first noticed, noone had dogpiled his LJ yet. Now that he's deleted all comments, and removed the link from the original entry, all bets are on that folk are dogpiling the lj too.

y'know, one day people will realize that sending fanfiction/short stories to their favorite writers is a really. shitty. idea. Hell, if they're write period they should know that. That's why creators communicating with their fans is so very rare.
