Am I the only one who has given up on SasuNaru in the cannon story-line?

Once you break it down, there is no hope for poor Naruto and Sasuke. In my opinion, Sasuke in too deep and impossible to save. (and don't gibe that; He will be set straight with a good, hot dicking thing eighter.)

As a fanfic writer (a very anal one at that) I'm starting to write and come up with allot of AU Sasunaru fics, because lets face it. It will never happen in cannon at this rate.
