Since flutterg beat me to it, here's some specific links to the Get Fuzzy "Is Harry Potter a kids' book?" wank. It got rolling when cyranocyrano asked if she's alone in having not read OotP yet, and dmaster responded with the unthinkable:

"I'm not. I don't see the appeal of a kids book honestly. Much better things to be read these days I think. "

The massive wank that ensues includes such gems as:
