FFR/Wank = OTP!
Yep, our friendly neighborhood fanficrants is up to no good...again!

elle_s_shadow is sick of het shippers bitching about how Harry/Draco isn't canon when their OTP isn't canon either (specifically Draco/Ginny, Draco/Hermione, Harry/Hermione shippers). The responses start out fairly nice, until incitata begs to differ, and tells elle_s_shadow to kindly STFU.

And just when things couldn't get worse, swedish15 takes offense to elle_s_shadow's generalizations on het shippers.

I never said all het-fans were. My point, which you seem to have missed, was that YOUR subtext is no more canon that MY subtext.

And no. Harry/Hermione isn't less OOC. It TOTALLY depends on how its written. There can be h/Hr fics writen like crap, totoally ooc, and there can be h/hr fics written in character and beleivable and perfect. THE SAME GOES FOR ALL PAIRINGS."

I understand and accept your point, that your pairing is as valid as ours. Now please understand ours: Generalisations include all people within the generalised classification, and saying "Oh, I didn't mean you!" doesn't negate your initial generalisation or our inclusion within it.


A bit small now, but it has loads of potential.
