Project Wankway.
[info]projectrunway is generally bordering on wank every three entries. You'd think the real wank would be about the actual show. Nope.

[info]pateo asks if contestant Bradley is gay.

People have fun musing over it, mostly believing he is straight and repeating Tim Gunn's podcast joke that he can't be a very good gay if he doesn't know who Cher is.

[info]mugabe does't think it should matter. And goes on a self-righteous crusade against sterotypes. Or something. You could easily just read the whole thing, but those are the highlights.

[info]vagroaches tries to bring vague logic.

It's not big, but it's certainly wanky and it may grow. I'm just happy that this icon is on topic, only 20 minutes after I uploaded it, too... All hail the Homometer.

There are a few, actually. Vincent is married, Michael appears to be straight and Jeff has a girlfriend with a baby. Vincent's psychosis makes up for any heterosexuality in all contestants, though, I assure you.

This is too true, most gay men I have met are not really even into anal sex, they usually prefer other things.

Of course slash is well... slash and most of it (at least what I have encountered) is written for women who enjoy that particular (anal sex) erotic imagery when it comes to two men getting it on, so I suppose whether it reflects reality is kind of moot.

meh, I rather think real life has no business in fantasy. slash is porn, as such subject to different rules. it's catering to an audience, and that audience is not gay dudes.

not to say, of course, that slash has any business intruding into real life. that is to say, people harassing your friend re: sexual habits seem unpleasant indeed.

Setting aside the whole gay/being a Cher fan stereotype, how can you be an American fashion designer of any orientation and not know about Cher? Fashion is so tied in to pop culture. It's not like he's a n00b either (as in, "I'm 19 and my main influences are Fallout Boy and Christina Aguilera"), he seems to be about my age and Sonny and Cher was probably on when he was little and then Cher probably had her big comeback when he was in junior high or so.

Or perhaps I misjudge his age due to the beard. The only person who harps on constantly about her age is Laura. I like her clothes a lot, but ok we get that you are 42 and have 5.3 kids and think all the other designers are assholes.

Smartest thing Angela ever did was pick Michael and Laura for her team in the INC challenge, Y/N.
