trailertralk does a mediocre sporking of an Inuyasha fanfic over on weepingcock, likeyoudo, and the community proceeds to laugh at "giggle of her ass" and "*SMACK, SMACK*."

Of course, it doesn't take long for the author of the fic to show up.

plumespixie2 descends on the community like an avenging mosquito, replying to just about every single comment with "I'm proud of my fic, and I will continue to be proud of it." This is interspersed with minor variations on a few defensive themes that eventually melds into a cacophony of "LOL, I'M NOT UPSET! LOOK AT ME LAUGH WITH YOU! WATCH ME BE A GOOD SPORT! please love me?"

The anonymice, scenting blood, descend on the community like avenging mosquito fish. This leads to one of the more disquieting exchanges I've ever witnessed, wherein plumespixie2 and her girlfriend izzanami try to talk /b/tard and end up sounding as authentic as Reagraham Lincool.

There's an accusation of grudge-sporking, since plumespixie2 sporked a Sess/Rin fic a few days ago.

And trust me, they're wanking all over the place. You don't need to know anything about Inuyasha to be entertained by this one. Just click on any random thread in that post, and you'll find someone being hilariously wanky.

(Interesting circle-of-wank sidenote: The apparent sockpuppet who wrote the sporking here, trailertralk, is a member of tropical_bitch, a community formed to fight inuanonymous, which was featured in this wank.)

Recently, our beloved InuGrrrl was plagiarized on FanFiction.net.

Naturally, the fic in question was 'He Saw Red' (subsequently renamed, "He Saw Red: Respect the Alpha" after the wank broke out regarding how Inuyasha clearly wasn't a rapist, just an 'alpha male') or as the plagiarist re-titled it, 'The Alpha'.

Upon learning of the plagiarism, InuGrrrl promptly cried out to her fans who in turn have swarmed the plagiarist's review board. And while I do not suggest that anyone actually take the time to read all the flames, they are worth skimming if you need a good chuckle.

Although my personal favorite review thus far has got to be the one from ravenmoon456:
"great story, but one question, did inuyasha rape her?"

Sueric strikes again! This time she received a review from Eponine regarding her fic imPurity. (you know, the one that keeps spawning other novels, characters, one shots, KagomexInuyasha hanyou offspring?)

The review was promptly deleted *3 times* by Sueric because Eponine wasn't taking the risk of contracting an STD kissing her ass like a good little minion.

Eponine, now realizing that it wasn't a computer error on her part that kept removing the review, proceeded to fanfic rants to get the support of others, not even realizing that she had stumbled into teh_Sueric!

The good people of fanfic rants kindly pointed her in our direction, and now Eponine is an expert on all things Sueric!Wanky. But the best is yet to come...

As a result of receiving that ONE review, Sueric has now locked her review board to MM.org members only. (Fun bonus side note: look who reviewed second from the top... THEY'RE SWARMING!!)

And in other news, the flaying of Sueric on FFN continues...

InuGrrl's latest endeavor, The Edge of Seventeen, has drawn some interesting reviews recently.

First, The Critic straightforwardly points out that the fic contains factual errors regarding the Japanese culture.

Naturally, this enrages the masses for reasons yet to be determined. For her part, InuGrrl simply makes a kind author's note in her next chapter proclaiming that she has no interest in facts so no one should bother educating her.

Things quiet down until The Critic makes the scene to defend the critique and snark back at Kagaga no Subaba, and in the process provides some insight into why most fan fiction SUCKS now-a-days.

I have a feeling this might get entertaining, people. We've stumbled upon a Sueric in the making!!

Continuing on from greyscale's wank two weeks ago that got almost as large as Sueric's ego so big that it earned its own fic!

Media miner’s mods have given BNFs new fanfic rules. These rules need not apply to those beneath them.  (i.e. everyone with a head small enough to walk through a door.)
1) All C&C is now considered harassment. After all, they get so many flames a day, they shouldn't have to put up with actual advice.
2) You have the right to flame anyone who dares to C&C you and sic your legions of terror on them.
3) Anything less than a 10/10: Flame. Delete it and rinse and repeat as necessary from rule one.
4) Fans no longer have the right to point out when you're an arrogant ass to them.
5) Mods are to protect you against anything that doesn't include a smiley face and a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

A topic is started before the initial wank about people not being able to take C&C but eventually Julia_mizu brings up this C&C that was left for Sueric after the last wank and was deleted (but saved in a few places like here on F_W and on ffn) But that's harassment, not C&C if you're a BNF! fanilia jumps in with her own story that makes no sense what so ever and isn't related to the topic and enlightens us with the fact that religion and fandom are the same thing. Or maybe she was saying it's okay to C&C as long as it's not actually to the author, because the Legions of Terror jump on you for it.

She later threatens to lock the post for others going off topic.

And teh stupid doesn’t stop there!

Kendraless brings up another review that's been deleted by Sueric but Broken Visage and Dumas1 make it all better because it protects the idiot reviewer who dared to say what they really think.

Yamsham doesn't feel better knowing the mods are out to protect one of their own her.

And what the hell is with fanilia? She doesn't seem to understand that people on F_W 1) are not trying to give C&C and 2) are not TRYING to be seen by the people they are wanking about.  They seem to have been here enough:read the damn rules.

It’s an ass-kissing parade, until Angelica points out that building off of someone else’s plotline and characters is kind of the definition of fan fiction.

A bit of a controversy is born as the two duke out the difference between plagiarism and fan fiction. It is apparently decided that the difference between the two is the disclaimer at the beginning of the fic.

There is a bit more discussion between Angelica and Sueric's Legions of Terror. However, things seem to calm down until Sueric replies armed with a quote from Lady Macbeth (that I am SO beyond tempted to MST, mind you all), and explains to us all the true meaning of plagiarism…

Is anyone else worried that her explanation kind of matches Wikpedia.com’s definition of fan fiction?

After Sueric’s EMO!TEAR post, Vuirneen kindly points out the wisdom behind listening to others.

Naturally, Sueric quickly provides us with the message that inspired me to wank this corrects Vuirneen by reminding everyone that the situation is all about HER!

Then Fanilia steps in and locks the thread and subtly lets us all know that Angelica is going to be the cause of Sueric not writing anymore (What!? No Purity 18!? Damn…).

I suppose we should have known all along. The truth of the matter is that all fan fiction authors are plagiarists at heart.

Thank you, Sueric, for setting us all straight on the matter.

InuGrrrl writes your average, everyday, typical violent rape fic (with "i luv u"s exchanged after the fact to signal to the reader that It's All Good) and initially makes no note of this in her summary.

It's the typical kissing ass until 'distressed' points out that a disclaimer might be nice, among other things.

'distressed' replies again and tries to correct a few misconceptions about her review, which don't seem to stick in anyone's brain. Finally InuGrrrl reposts the story with a tl;dr comment of her own in the reviews where she whines about how she did not glorify rape, and throws this gem into her new author's notes:

I have decided to repost my story. Enough people have requested it and I think it's fair. I have also added N/C and OOC to my summary but I will NOT add rape. It wasn't a rape and I won't say it was to please others.

Because just because it's non-consensual, that doesn't make it rape! There's also a note from her beta reader about this topic, revealing that this story, which focuses on how Kagome is 'beta' to Inuyasha's 'alpha' and must be put in her place, was a gift for the beta reader.

I don't know about anyone else, but if the person I betaed for wrote a fic about raping a 'beta' as a present to me, I would run for the Internet Hills.

ETA: Looks like the author got wind of things and the story/reviews came down with it. I, being a good little veteran of FW, have saved the story, the beta's note, and the original reviews.

Edit: As a confirmation for those discussing it, Jakotsu was not turned female in the dub. He's voiced by a woman, but was in Japanese as well. Toshi Yoshida (the director of the IY dub) informed me that he would remain male in the cartoon network broadcast when I inquired about it at Kuni-con in March.

After a rolling start on the Green Tea forum, controversy struck the IY Fanguild in the form of accusations regarding voting accuracy, moderator corruption, and the possibilty of voter solicitation. After reading THIS PARAGRAPH in the administrative post, one person decided to take the option presented, and posted to the list anonymously. And as we all know by now, stupidity (of course) outweighs all else, and the reaction to this anonymous post was less than favorable.

But by far, the most ignorant, inflammatory (and most misspelled) response goes to Zardoz, who has proven that "Apocalypse Now" isn't just a movie -- it's a way of life. Now it seems that fandom is a battlefield (take that, Pat Benetar!), and anonymous posts are equivalent to a "blood feud."

Numisma, honey, "write what you know" shouldn't be an excuse to MarySue Inuyasha with all of your "unique" characteristics.

Wrapping back around to where it seems to have all begun, the Green Tea forums, Numisma posts a wailing cry of "harssment" and abuse (woe!) that rouses her fangirl-heavy audience into a frenzy of ego-stroking. Let's not forget that the Green Tea forums is where Numisma's thread on Urd-chan's Temple of the Dog provided much wank for the hungry masses.

Like dogs to Numisma's Pavlov, the minions responded with resounding cries against this upstart ChibiSeal, who clearly does not know good literature from a hole in the ground. All of us really need to thank the mindless masses for proving that in this fandom, all you REALLY need is a complete lack of humility and an assload of arrogance. In an attempt to comfort Numisma's bruised ego, they dropped such names in comparison with her work as Tolkien, Shakespeare, and Hemingway. Because with such a "classic" as Movie House Hanyou, ChibiSeal was obviously "just jealous." ChibiSeal could probably never write as convincing a MarySue as Numisma did. ^__~

After apparantly failing to get the point across on the GT forum, Ookami-chan retreats to his/her journal to rant about the IY WANK in that venue. Because where better for a proper hermit to rant and rage than in their own little cave? Revealing personal involvement in the seedy underbelly of kink and bondage to add weight to the harsh words about the so-called BDSM flavoring to MHH. Well, at least now we know how to get under Ookami-chan's skin -- misrepresent the BDSM community. *makes a note* If only Howard Hughes had been as easy to tempt out of reclusion.

kikyounosorrow is known throughout quite a bit of the "InuYasha" fandom for her hatred of Kagome. (As displayed in several places on her Kikyou shrine, as well as in forums, livejournal communities, etc.)

Several times on inuyasha she has made posts targeted at triggering fans of the character into going off. (One of which was fandom_wanked at a previous point, one of which was deleted before it could be, and a couple of which didn't reach a level that would warrant it.)

Replies started out very civil, until kikyounosorrow and her friend prince_of_chaos accused the civil replyers of being 'rabid fangirls defending their cartoon goddess' and other such sentiments.
