Some information to better understand the wank. In Japan there is an agency called Johnny's that is the major male idol agency in the country. Most of the most popular boy bands are signed with them, one of these groups is called NEWS.

A few days ago a German NEWS fan chyco_chan decided to share scans from a German J-Pop magazine, that is notorious for poor research and nabbing whatever pictures they can find on the net for their magazine, as this time they snagged two pictures of NEWS/Kanjani8 member Ryo Nishikido for an article about gay life in Japan.

In the words of chyco_chan:

She then tries to get people to contact Johnny's about the magazine to tell them about it in the comments as she's afraid of being blamed if the magazine goes out of business.

And then cue the fangirl rage and lols at the article in the seven pages of comments this post has spawned.

There is someone that questions the 'calling someone gay=bashing' of the OP but then goes on about homoerotic the pictures are, despite them being, y'know solo shots.

And we have some minor capslocking of rage against other fangirls by bugattack.

Plus rage against the magazine as this would 'hurt' Ryo if he ever saw it from yamapilovergyal.

And many, many 'Poor Ryo' and 'Johnny's should sue' than it's worth counting.

Another wank found on wank_report. A bit mild but it has fangirls full of rage.

Over on the Akame LJ community frythe_egg decided to translate some news for the English fandom as they were just furious that a Shanghai TV drama used an altered image of Japanese pop idol, Kazuya Kamenashi from the popular boy band KAT-TUN, for a funeral photo.

In the news report that is translated the blame for it is passed off to a props man where a lot of the fangirl rage is directed at. The props man did issue an apology but that is not enough for some fangirls as they cry over 'poor Kame', who they are sure is also crying over this as using his photo for this is like 'implying he is dead'. And none believe that the props man would have just grabbed any photo off the net to use and used Kame's picture with full knowledge of who he was.

So what happens when an obscure American musician finds out that a Japanese indie band that just might be less obscure has the same name as the one you've already picked. Well if the name is Versailles you copyright the name and threaten legal action against the Japanese band for stealing the name from you. Because you know there's no way that they could have been inspired by the French city the name comes from being as they are a visual kei band that uses the glory days of French aristocratic society as their band's theme.

Needless to say the wank is easy to find from both sides in the US Versailles myspace page.

And wank from JP Versailles can be found a few places like the Last.fm shoutbox for JP Versailles and the Jrock Revolution Versailles board that has their announcement that they will be changing their name so they can continue performing in the U.S.

Sabrina claims that it was a case of mistaken identity, but it led to her blacklisting from the fanclub the first time. The wank report is now lost but details were provided by over on this thread regarding the deletion and the wiki entry has been fixed to reflect this by the lovely tez.

This relates to the current wank. Sabrina sends in her renewal form and money and discovers to her horror, that the ban has not been lifted.

You can also see her make death threats in a previous entry. But they aren't as interesting as the ones she made in January when the stalking incident and primary blacklisting occurred (here's another old entry related to it).

Yesterday, Sabrina has stepped up on her plans to file a law suit against Gackt by contacting a prefectural law office. She means business.

The LJ community anti_gackt in unusual in that... well... most of the members like Gackt. However, you can't say you're a 400 year old Norwegian vampire who claims to speak fluent English (which no one else can understand) without coming off as a little silly.

Charmingly makes the mistake that anti_gackt is in the same spirit as most other anti communities, and posts a link to her sticking it to the Gackt fangirls here.

The anti_gackt people are not impressed.
