So. chiibiusa, co-mod of sm_secrets, announces in sailormoonfans that she's thinking of shutting down the comm (at least temporarily, but possibly for good), because there aren't enough secrets being submitted, and she's tired of it. The first commenter, tenchichan, suggests that chiibiusa needs to calm down.

DON'T. TELL. CHIIBIUSA. TO. CALM. DOWN.

Cue raeg, increasingly incoherent responses, a small amount of "OMG don't leave us we love you!" fangirling, and some sighs from people who thought their comm had outgrown this shit.

She is STILL replying to comments left on the sf_d post, as well as randomly friending comm members. There are rumors of a post waiting in the sf_d mod queue, presumably telling us all how gullible we are for falling for her trolling, and how we've all been lol!pwnd! There's been a few comments from people who claim to know her and say that this is really unlike her, so it's possible that this is all leading up to the classic "I GOT HACKED!" defense."

ETA! Chiibiusa flounces: "i amno longer updating this journal from now until ever. and 'ever' is subjective is until i am ready to open it back up again."

Aptly, she's back for more. I guess in the recession, the exchange rate for 'ever' is approximately 45 minutes.

One of these days I'll have a wank that's not from FurAffinity. Today is not that day.

Allan (NOT WORK SAFE), unlike many of the users on FurAffinity, isn't an artist. Rather, he's someone who is best known for commissioning artists often and posting what he buys to his account. This is one thing that Allan is known for. Another thing that Allan is known for is being 37 and constantly begging for money or a place to live, as he seems to have a rather nasty habit of being kicked out of whatever home he crashes in. He's been accused of stealing, not even trying to find a job, and still buying commissions from artists at a fairly steady rate. Often very expensive commissions. Involving his black wolf DJ character shirtless and with his penis hanging out.

Today, Allan posts a journal with a very urgent message:

At first, there are a lot of people expressing their concern over Allan's well-being. After awhile though, doubters start to trickle in.

Allan is a well known sponger who begs for money and spends it on commissions and who moves from place to place taking advantage of peoples good nature to live in their place and eat their food without working. When they kick him out after getting fed up with his sponging, like here, he just tries to take advantage. WARNING!"

These doubters are promptly dogpiled by Allan's friends, but soon there are many more people expressing skepticism at the situation. For one thing, Allan had posted a commission he'd purchased just a few hours before making the journal. Some people suggest a local homeless shelter and are also scorned. Allan himself replies to a few people with a 'GO FUCK YOURSELF!' and letting them know they're blocked from his page. Which some people point out is an odd thing for him to have time to do.

SubmissiveTrout: "Why do people defend this guy? I don't understand it."
jeffkage:"BECAUSE WE'RE HIS FRIENDS Thats why we defend him. Maybe if you weren't such a dick you'd understand that"

It has gotten to the point that even the head admin of the site, Dragoneer, has come in to lecture Allan: "This is going to be the most un-admin like thing I'll ever write, but... Stop commissioning people. Pay your rent. Stop getting kicked the fuck out of where you live."

And so it goes.

ETA: On lulz.net (think /b/ for furries -- meaning VERY NOT WORK SAFE. Or brain safe. Don't browse there.) the topic is also being discussed. Among the comments is a supposed claim from someone who called to try and help Allan: "What angers me the most, is that I offered to help this person. As I was calling people I knew in New York, he began asking me, out of NOWHERE, "So, how do you want to draw my character?" Worthless."

What follows is an account written by swsa, a friend without a JF account, and it is such a classic take-the-money-and-run story that I present it to you unaltered (well, okay, I threw in some links).


In Moonlight fandom, their high priestess of campaigning is named Leeser. Leeser's status in the fandom grew and grew as she organized fan cons, did the leg work for their Variety ad, etc. She is absolutely beloved and a hero of their cause. Which is why another fan apparently felt secure enough to give her $11000 in order to pay for bus ads to run in L.A. ( This ends about as well as you might expect )

ETA ∞: I was waiting to update until the supposed Leeser-vindicating deadline this afternoon, but it looks like... I don't even know what. So:

The donor updates:

The ad agency has stated they cannot confirm whether the funds are available or not. The New York office is placing at least a 3-5 day hold on Lesser's account in order to verify funding with the bank, however it may be longer. They are now hoping to be able to post this account on Friday. The ads have arrived and are waiting in the warehouse. Lesser is aware of this. I am so angry at this moment I dare not say too much more. One thing I must say though is to Lesser: Shame on you! To put me through this is one of the most unconscionable deeds I have experienced in my life.

Also: Homophobia on Leeser's board? Convention money shenanigans? Sockpuppetry? (Note: the Blue Whale Pub board seems to be down at the moment.)

Allright. I have quite a few things that are leading me to believe that svmaria is sockpuppeting around as msjulialurker, and I want a hospital address where Maria is staying. If you're willing to give out her personal address, then you can give out her hospital address so this information can be verified.

If I'm completely wrong about my suspicions, I will apologize profusely to you in front of Live Journal at large, but if this is all some sort of weird...thing you all have going on? You should be so ashamed.

In the comments of the post, it's revealed that Maria's home IP and the "hospital" IP match up, and just as general opinion starts to swing in the direction of pseuicide, herohunter deletes herself too.





Now wait until the betrayed friends find out that svmaria and herohunter are alive and well on GreatestJournal!
