If you play World of Warcraft, you'll know that there is a darker, more sinister side to the game. A side known as... a Roleplaying Server. *dun dun da!*

Like most places of free range RP, there are delicious tidbits of wank. This one involves everyone's favorite- Internet Suicide!

The story starts over at The Roleplayer's Lament, a blog that brings the Mary Sues, Godmodders, and other such failures of WoW RPing to your computer screen with the added picture or two for laughs.

When you use certain addons like FlagRSP, you can give yourself a title, last name, and all sorts of horrible life details that another player would totally know instantly by looking at someone. A particularly nasty Gary Stu is posted and there is joyous mock for the RPing community.

Until the blog poster learns later that the player behind the Aizen wannabe died.

Kinda puts a damper on the fun making, right? Nah! Turns out the player *gasp* faked his WoW death to get back at the Lamenters for poking fun at him. Apparently, it's all fun and games until the tables are turned, which has various WoW RPers demanding blood for their tears and prayers, and one person suggesting he get prison raped for his Internet Death scheme.

But fear not, fellow Moon Guard-ians! For as long as this blog will stand against the test of internet time, Marrowdarkness shall forever be remembered and immortalized as a Godmodder and Death Faker! And we shall all forget this wank in time, probably when the next Sue who claims to be Illidan's newest chew toy trots into Goldshire.

Bonus: Official Forums nerd rage. T minus until Bliz nukes the thread.

Boy, oh boy. May I present to you one of the most epic wanks ever to befall the Sims 2 community - the revolution involving Insimenator.net. Thanks to simscribe (Devilfish) and simmiesworld for the writeups. I've just made a few minor tweaks.

Be warned that this is a wank of epic proportions. It's hard to tell what happened when and who said what. I've given most attention to the facts that can be supported by screenshots. Hundreds of people were involved in this wank, everyone has their own opinions on it and events may or may not have occurred in the order described.

Watch out, FFXI players! The haxxorz are at it again!

After breaking into the FFXI wiki forums and then losing all his cred for stealing people's accounts, Taj is attempting to redeem himself by breaking into the site that sells FFXIApp and revealing the purchasers to the world!

Wank breaks out on Allakhazam (No surprise there), and probably elsewhere.

Maple Story is an MMO that boasts being free-- well, mostly. You can progress just fine level-wise in the game without ever spending a dime, but if you want bells and whistles (such as special clothing, hair, etc.) you can trade real cash for 'NX' points.

A few days ago, a patch was released with a Halloween theme, including a couple new map areas to explore and monsters to kill. One of the areas, a haunted mansion, can only be entered by people wearing costumes purchased with NX points. Although entering this area is not neccessary to complete any goals in the game, the masses were not happy.

( The threads are of course chock full of the kind of mature level-headed discussion you'd expect from gamers. )

There's also a second huge thread about it here that I didn't have time to find choice comments from. A day after the patch was released and uproar began it was revealed that after Halloween you wouldn't need the NX items to enter the mansion, but that didn't really stop the rage any.

I'm still muddling through threads and stuff on alla, so I'll let this mousey here speak through me:

"FFXI exploded again. This wank makes the Wiki thing last week look TAME.

Taj, the hero of questionable morality in the previously reported Wikia/FFXI wanksplosion, managed to acquire the account information for nine members of a linkshell on Asura. He moved the accounts to Leviathon (presumeably through illegal means) and took their stuff. This was all done, from what we can tell, with the "because it was there" attitude.

More cross forum bitching ensues.
