The Republican (lol!) Twilight self-publishing wank has been deleted owing to the balance of evidence suggesting that the subject was almost certainly underage. So if you saw that video with the hickey on her breast, I hope you feel suitably dirty.

In this case, her age was not exactly prominently displayed, but bear in mind that if you have any doubts about the age of the subject, don't post it. Or check with your loving mods.

As you all know, we've had a lot of n00bs join [info]fandom_wank recently, and we've been suffering some growing pains. Once again, we urge you to read our user info and learn about the rules and how to contact the mods and all the non-fun business.

Since we have so many new baby wankas, we need some help gently reminding the young ones (and some not so young ones) of the rules. We want you to be the FW Nannies, and help us guide our sweet n00bs through this harsh, wanky world. So, if you see any of the following things:

out of control boobie trains
excessive posting of recipes
unfunny macros
wank reenactment in the comments
trolling, trollbaiting, trollbiting, trip-trapping across my bridge
any random breaking of actual rules

But it's important. Our big rules are there. Breaking any of them will get you warned and/or banned.

The mods are creatures of whim. [info]phosfate might call you a "whiny little fuckstick." [info]sepiamagpie might call you a "whore." [info]eljuno might create a whole 'nother comm where he can rule you with an iron fist. [info]apoplexia might kill you in your sleep, so don't ever give him your address. [info]sorchar's the one with Uglycat, and [info]panthea is the funny one, and I'm the one who has to hear about all the mean girls in high school. Oh, I almost forgot [info]wankprophet: direct all marriage proposals and offers to bear internet babies his way.

The user info has handy links to our other comms (if they're wank comms, most of our rules apply there, unless otherwise noted), and to our wiki (which is down right now, but will be back soon). The user info is required reading, but the wiki is not.

Remember, we are not nice here. We are here to mock fandom wankiness. We are all wankers ourselves, and often turn on and mock each other. If you chose to misinterpret the name of the comm, and decide it is an invitation, do not be surprised when we mock you for wanking in the comments.

You know what pisses the mods off? Using FW to solicit readers for your jackassery. Friendslocked material is not permitted and frankly, we don't like people inviting others to view it here.

This is why we can't have nice things, kids.

[info]luvginnyarwen, [info]kvader and [info]varkias (as well as: verthandi, having had a previous warning for this behaviour) have received bans. The others received temp bans for the duration of a week. I would like to remind people that the reposting of friendslocked material is also grounds for your journals being suspended, according to the admins of JF. Also, it makes us look more like assholes than usual.


Although I must thank you people. Now no one will ever top my ban record.

I don't think so, but just in case: DO NOT POST SPOILERS FOR DEATHLY HALLOWS, PLEASE.

By that I mean, do not post un-warned-for, uncut spoilers. Do not just randomly drop them into comments. If you're posting a wank where people are freaking out because of spoilers, that's okay, but just make sure you're clearly warning for spoilers and you put them behind a cut, so people can avoid them if they want.

This Week on Journal Fen: Mods and Anons and Pandas, Oh My!

All right, here's a report about what's been going down. Thank you to the person who gave me their spare account and to the people who helped put this together.

We've all learned a lot this week. Disagreeing with [info]pyratejenni anywhere, anytime will get you banned. Being reasonable won't get you anywhere, missy. You can just satisfy that banning fetish elsewhere! Anyone with legitimate concerns can just STFU. Keep that common decency to yourselves, u h0rs! No, no one said anything about any death threats, it was actually death to het, or something. Damn Harry Potter slashers. Well, maybe not, but it's as good an explanation as any.

Still, we're left with many questions and anon memes don't do much to provide the answers. Is all this posturing merely a ploy by [info]pyratejenni to get the attention of a certain special someone? And will [info]fpb live happily ever after? Not even the pandas know. These kinky creatures can tell you what's it's like to be the sidekick or about British indy movies but they can get homesick.

Celebrity guests, love and hate, some shipping, yes to double penetration and no to pull-outs (but what if you only have one ass?), and we will never look at Christian Bale or Stephen Colbert the same way again (don’t worry Stephen, you’ll always be top anchor with us!). Doctor Who makes a valiant effort to kill the internet but in the end, all your fandoms are belong to Bale Panda.

Reminder! The reason we do not discuss She Who Must Not Be Wanked is very simple: she's been banned from Journalfen as a whole (banned by ZR and Robin by IP).

We do not wank minors because they're not allowed on JF, and we don't wank/discuss Stormfreak (EDIT: I've removed Stormfreak's AKA here, since her defender, Zinkshipper, complained about it on the wiki - even though Zinkshipper herself has linked to it, and SF identified herself as it here. But okay, pretend you don't know her other LJ name. If you wank her under that name, fair game, I guess since we're not supposed to know it, evidently) because she's not allowed here either, and it's not playing fair (damn our ethics). As well, when her name is mentioned, she usually shows up posting anon, and that leads to anon commenting being turned off (which no one wants, right anons?).

So, she's persona non grata on JF, and we ask that you don't bring her up on any of the wank communities. Thanks.

This is not a post to discuss Stormfreak and what she did or didn't do, just so we're clear.
