I did that. I assumed everyone would too...but if people who aren't willing to mod are getting submitted, I would assume they just get set aside when the mods look over who's in demand.

Question! Is editing of posts on f_w now being screened too? It took several attempts to edit my Quibbler post to get it add the link to this post. Or is JF being weird? I kept hitting save journal entry which it seemed to do but then when I looked at it it hadn't changed.

Are you sure you were doing a full reload? (Hold down the shift key and THEN click reload or refresh). JF pages are very sticky--your browser is more likely to load the page from its cache than to reload it from the server. Half the time, I'll not visit JF for a couple of weeks and have to do a forced reload to actually see my updated friends page. Otherwise, it'll be the old page from a couple of weeks prior if I haven't cleared my cache.

Did you hit reload when you looked? You might've been looking at the copy in your cache.

In addition to what [info]hotpinkdragones said, you might also need to hit 'Ctrl + F5' for a full reload on a Windows box. Though, oddly, sometimes when I do that I get the cached copy and then an F5 gets me a new one. Which is just the fact that I'm haunted, I think.

And as an addition (erg, sorry...) sometimes JF is just slow in general. Nothing against the service or the owners, but shakiness is sometimes very common, in case you haven't noticed. It's part and parcel of the whole experience, methinks...

(Throwing in my serious question: How many new mods are you planning to add? I think several would be good, as long as you trust them; that way, delays would be shorter, whether in deleting troll posts or unscreening new posts, if you decide to keep that up.)
