Of course, it's Thursday evening, so anyone going to Anime North may all ready BE at Anime North. On the off chance you're gonna be there, and are reading this, you are CORDIALLY INVITED to a room party my husband and I are throwing Saturday night!
It's at the Radisson, which is the hotel across the street from the Doubletree, AN's main hotel. I don't know which room it's in because... we haven't gotten our room yet. Which is why you need to hunt down one of the flyers pictured below, which some time tomorrow will show up with the actual room number written down. You can come by our table at the "Nomonoichi" flea market Friday night, as we'll have party flyers there to hand out, not to mention FREE post cards advertising my web comic as well as lots and lots of cool old anime stuff for sale-- now's your chance to fill those holes in your 80s phonebook manga collection! You may also wheedle an invite from my husband Friday or Saturday before the party at any of his panels-- "Totally Lame Anime", "I Heart the 70s" or Anime Hell.
We'll have drinks, real southern junk food and free comics as door prizes! Please come, because I don't wanna have to take home all those Moon Pies. HEE HAW |
