	There's more than one guy in her fan club. medium_dave and fllewellyn are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head that state they are males but there's others. I'm not sure how women can handle being around her either. (Reply to this)(Parent)

Here are some harassers who ought to be photographed:

Women who wear their pants low to expose the tattoos on their upper gluteus maximi.

Women who wear sweatpants with logos printed on the bottom which effectively say: "Stare at my firm [or flabby] buttocks."

Bzuh? How is that harassment? He could have been speaking sarcastically, and meant "I like it when women wear their pants low, and women should like it when I do catcalls", but then he goes onto list things like paternity fraud and false rape charges.

I don't mind it at all actually. I find it amusing. I'm used to throwing it back. I kind of miss being serenaded, nobody does that where I live now. I caught some Spanish songs about a beautiful white rose. "Oh Pretty Woman" and "Poetry in Motion" were others. How can anyone get angry about that.. I'm lost. Unless you absolutely hate the songs I guess. I've had guys also say in passing that damn, they like "a big strong woman who can throw me over her shoulder", that they liked thick women, etc. I don't see what their is to get mad about.

I've gotten less-than-complimentary comments about my weight but when someone tells me to "go to Jenny Craig, you fat cow!" I'll grin and say, "If I lose weight I won't be fat but you'll still be an asshole".

Personally I think women have bigger battles to deal with than getting their bundies in an unch over someone yelling if they can get fries with that shake. They need to learn a few comebacks or else pretend they didn't hear it/don't understand English/etc. Sometimes I can understand. When I was thirteen and walking home alone from basketball practice after dark, some guy jogging by said, "You're a foxy chick, I wanna rape you!" That isn't funny at all, it would freak me out now. I can understand getting pissed off and freaked out about that, even though the guy likely had no intentions of raping anyone, he just felt like scaring somebody.

Mostly what I get around here is some guy walking by or driving by with his car rolled down, giving me the "look" and going "Hey, baby," or "Hey, girl, you got a boyfriend?" (Sometimes even "How you doin'?" just like Joey.) Hey, I can sympathize with somebody feeling really uncomfortable with unwanted attention, even if it was meant well. A problem I have with some feminists is that they are prone to saying "Women do this and men do that" as if it applied to everyone of the sex.

I wonder what

ginmar would say if I complained that she was depriving me of the fun of getting wolf-whistled. Probably she would ban me.

I don't get a lot of cat-calls lately, but I do get junkies, goths, and Red Cross volunteers telling me all the time that I have beautiful veins. I live in a very strange neighborhood.

My dad is a construction worker who didn't ever cat-call, or at least had the sense not to in my presence. He worked with a man who let the other guys hoot and holler, then he'd say (allowing just the slightest trace of his southern accent to creep through), "Some men just don't know how to behave around a beautiful lady." Those are the men you've got to watch out for. ;)

More on topic, I got harassed like heck in junior high and high school and it was almost soley by wanky guys wwho couldn't stand smart creatures without dicks showing no interest in them. So I kinda understand where Ginmar is coming from on the harassment thing because it drives me bats to this day.
