Not that I'm disillusioned with my Bachelor of Arts or anything. ;)

All arts degrees are extremely worthwhile and I am offended that you would denigrate them in this way.

You are clearly wrong and bitter. I suggest you apologise.

Absolutely entirely just bitter and in no way talking about the vast use Classics, English Lit and Humanities have been to my friends in finding work. ;)

Get a CDL and drive a truck. There's a driver shortage on. Some companies will even pay for a CDL.

That's what I did with my BA in English.

Alas, I think one needs to be able to drive an ordinary vehicle first! I'm too spack-handed to be allowed near things that go faster than me.

Which is a shame, because I always wanted to drive a tank.

Oh my god, I'm seriously considering doing that. I've got a History degree and it's getting me absolutely nowhere.

I've never regretted it.

I love my job. It has stress, all jobs do, but this last year has been one of the best, work-wise.

Best $6000 student loan I ever got, truck driving school was.

That's awesome. I'm at an art school, but it sounds like you got away with it at a real college.

Middlesex University is not a real college by any stretch of the imagination. I have a BA in Creative & Media Writing, it's fabulous. Try getting a job with that on your CV. :D

I didn't call mine a Bachelor of Attendence for nothing.

Snagged the fries.

All i use it for is padding my job applications. Most truck lines don't care about the degree, they just want your accident record.

Oddly really basic jobs seem to hate degrees: I've been turned down for positions for being "over-educated".
